Hello Kitty Shopping Tote from Hong Kong McDonald’s

Thursday, July 17th, 2008

Eh … finally the one thing I liked to own from all the HKBW madness in Hong Kong:

Hello Kitty Tote Bag by McDonalds Hong Kong

(From Jimmy’s generous sharing at  http://picasaweb.google.com/jp20021010/HELLOKITTYBLACKWONDER2008/photo#5223775847493420946 - you can find more magazine scan relating to the event from the same album)

I don’t go out a whole lot … but the one place that I will go to at least once a week is the supermarket, and it seems like I can never have enough shopping bag so adding one more cute Hello Kitty ones to my collection of grocery bags is never too much!

HINT HINT:  If anyone plans to get me anything from HKBW - this is the one things you can consider, everything else I am just not so crazy about =^.^=  Thanks in advance!!! hehe

Oh my god, a GIANT Hello Kitty in Black

Thursday, July 17th, 2008

The HKBW event in Hong Kong is starting as of today, and I got loads of emails, messages, and links from my friends in Hong Kong telling me whatever they manage to find about the event.

One of the most interesting link I got was this blog: http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/jw!KI.IoK2fEQX5pUL35.Xm7hycAA–/article?mid=2550

Which contained this picture:

Hello Kitty Black Wonder Giant Kitty

OMG!  A Giant Hello Kitty in Black!!!

Although Black was never my color of choice, but I do like any Hello Kitty bigger than my son hahaha

The guy said he found this at work, but I can’t quite figure out where he works from his blog, maybe he works for McDonalds? or maybe at a local magazine in the fashion group?  But in any case, I am jealous!  I wish I have something like this standing at work/at home : )

Thanks Pink for sharing!

Hello Kitty Pre-Wedding Pictures

Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008

Today marks my second wedding anniversary.

Because our wedding day rundown are often packed with way too many events, it is not uncommon for Asian couples to take pre-wedding pictures months before the actual wedding to be sure we got some good shots in wedding gowns.

And I am no exception, my husband and I took our pre-wedding pictures in Taiwan exactly three years ago at masalili on our trip back to Asia.

Didn’t want to be too childish, only one of our pictures actually included Hello Kitty, which looked like this:

Today when I was browsing around on veryWed.com, I saw an engaged couple had their pictures taken at Hello Kitty Sweets - how appropriate and how sweet!!!

(I still really wanted to go to this restaurant .. awwwwwww)

Flowers! Flowers! Flowers!

Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

After filing multiple complaints to YeungBaBa, YeungMaMa finally got her very first Hello Kitty flowers bouquet:

BaBa got them for me from Shating Plaza III at the Yume flower shop, while we went shopping there and had lunch with one of his aunts.

Gotta be one of the cutest flowers I have ever received in my life!

I have disassembled the bouquet when it dried out and kept all the ‘Hello Kitty parts’, and will try to replicate the design with some silk flowers so I can keep it “fresh” forever!

Let’s hope it will work out!

No flowers … but I’ve got chocolates!

Monday, March 24th, 2008

Didn’t get any flowers for my 23-months ‘wedding anniversary’ (mainly due to us haven’t visited any places with yume flowers shop over the past few days), but I have got some chocolates:

BaBa got them for me from three-sixty at ELEMENTS during our visit this past weekend.  The chocolates are ‘bow shaped’ and are tea flavored - how cute!

The chocolate didn’t taste the greatest (not a big tea fan) but I love the chocolate colored bow on the packaging - have to keep all the packaging after I finish all the chocolates hehehehehehehe

Thank you, BaBa!

Taking a 1x hours flight to Hong Kong is no fun to begin with …

Taking a 1x hours flight with a 14 months old curious about everything is a million times more exhausting …

Let me rest a little more before I begin blogging again about Hello Kitty here … zzzzzzzz
