Spotted this while browsing the web:

Cute! But definitely a little too childish for my liking (personally preferred something more romantic!).

These days many newly weds like to invite a team of people to perform the lion dance, a very traditional Chinese dance, at their weddings. In case she got called upon, Hello Kitty and Minna no Tabo have been practising together the art of the Lion Dance:
Looks like they are ready for hire anytime : )
Spotted at esdlife shop which ships to Hong Kong residents only.
This weekend is going to be a busy weekend for me filled with two weddings for two of my best girlfriends, and the two weddings reminded me of the little pair of Hello Kitty & Dear Daniel which we bought on our Taiwan trip last year, that looked just like the one pictured below:
When Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel kiss, they will say "I Love You" - my husband somehow decided to buy this from the airport Hello Kitty shop while I am busy purchasing For Sale in Taiwan only souvenirs ^^”””’
Maybe for this weekend only, they should be saying "I do" for my friends instead! hehehe
While trying to organize the photos in my close-to-full hard drive, I found a picture of the stickers we custom made for our wedding favours:

A friend of mine helped me to custom made them at a printing shop in Kamdo Plaza, Hong Kong using my concepts. They are heart shaped with Hello Kitty’s face on it and costed us HK$1/sticker. I originally wanted to make them with Hello Mimmy’s face (where the ribbon was on the left), but the design didn’t quite work out so we ended up having it made with Hello Kitty’s face.
Of course, it’s not a licensed product but I love them very very much and it’s probably one of the only bootleg product that I would actually proudly use : )
Personalized cake top have been popular in recent years especially in Asia for couples to use on top of their cakes or just placed at the reception desk, and Sanrio has caught up with the trend and come out with a couple-look-alike figure along with Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel on the side:
The figure takes about 45 days to make and measures about 16 cm tall - perfect as a cake top!
And the sample figure looks very much like the sample groom: you can see a picture of the actual person right here, but’s a little expensive at 75,600 yen though …
From the Sanrio.co.jp official website at http://www.sanrio.co.jp/goods/ktdn-figure/ktdn-figure.html
Came across a few non-Sanrio made Hello Kitty Signature Pens while looking for new ideas for my wedding planning clients:

Perfect for a Hello Kitty fan’s wedding! Too bad I found them a little too late or I think Queen would have loved to have some at her wedding!
technorati tags: hello kitty, hello kitty pens
There are some elements of Hello Kitty at my wedding, but not a whole lot … and thinking back, it can be a little more pink than that - I think the guys might disagree tho! (hahaha)

^ My wedding cake (just pink … no Kitties there!)
It’s not a whole lot of Kitties, but the little touches are good enough for me! Hope you enjoyed it!
Other than the official Hello Kitty MTR wedding hosted by Sanrio and MTR back in February 14, 2007, there was another really cool Hello Kitty themed wedding in Taiwan back in November 2006, not hosted by Sanrio, but equally as carefully planned.
Here are some pictures from the wedding:

^ Kitty balloon entrance

^ Reception table

^ Favor candies boxes piled up in cake shape

^ Toasting glasses

^ Welcome plush
A wedding all in Pink - must be a lot of girl’s dream!

During our recent trip in Hong Kong, we saw a very nice and unique looking Wedding Guestbook embroidered with Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel dressed in Chinese costumes at Jusco.
Needless to say, I immeidately thought of Miss Queen who is getting married in a few weeks.
The book sells for something around HK$168 at Jusco and if I am not yet married I would definitely get one for my wedding … too bad my second wedding anniversary is just around the corner! lol
Queen - maybe you can consider getting one for the HK part of your wedding banquet =^.^=
