Woohoo! The official title Hello Kitty’s application for iPhone and iPod Touch has finally been confirmed as “Hello Kitty Parachute Paradise”.

Winning soundly over other working titles such as “Hello Kitty Adventure” and “Hello Kitty Jump Fun”….

“Hello Kitty Parachute Paradise” gives our cute and lovable Hello Kitty a fittingly, soft-landing into her first leap into the Apple game application arena.

The question we have been getting the most about the upcoming Hello Kitty iphone app is whether it is a going to be a Game or Entertainment application for iPhone and iPod Touch.

Well, we can now say it is… BOTH!

The Hello Kitty app will have a multi-stage action game, featuring 3-D graphics as well as interactive entertainment oriented elements that leverage the power of the iPhone and iPod Touch platform.

How cool is that? There is a little something for everyone in this app — for all ages.

We officially confirmed late last year that Sanrio’s cute and ubiquitous Hello Kitty character brand was set for iPhone release in 2009, and currently is in full development.

We have not yet announced what form the application will take, right now it looks like the Hello Kitty iphone app will have a distinct game element with a form of interactive “virtual item” features commonly seen in Asian games and social network platforms.

Its official! Sanrio Digital has signed and approved development of its newest addition to its digital product line-up for 2009. Hello Kitty is set to be invading your iPhone and iPod Touch devices sometime late spring or for the summer of 2009!

We can’t give out any details yet, but it looks like the application will be a game and entertainment platform. The extent of the features and price hasn’t been set yet. It wouldn’t be too much to expect high quality 3-D graphics, as well as an abundance of cuteness that have become synonymous with Hello Kitty digital releases.
