Sanrio, in collaboration with Japanese rock band X Japan, will release “Visual Band Kitty” that will be used in the band’s world tour concerts.

The new image of Hello Kitty will be suited up like a member of X Japan, complete with make up and a rocker hair style.   

One trivia as to why this team up has been made is because Yoshiki, the band’s drummer, likes Hello Kitty goods.  It was also reported that he even brought the goods with him one time during a tour.
