Maxis Communications Bhd, in partnership with Sanrio Digital, has launched mobile WAP “Hello Kitty and Friends” portal early this week. At the same time, the company also launched “Hello Kitty and Friends Mobile Phone Club” to offer their Hello Kitty-loving fans discounts on downloads and and a chance to access limited edition mobile phone content exclusively to them.
The portal was made not only to cater to the current customer base of the company, but also to bring in more clients. According to Jon Eddy Abdullah, “We hope the Hello Kitty and Friends mobile content would be a magnet for other telecommunications users as well and that they will opt for Maxis.”
With all the Hello Kitty fans out there, especially Malaysia where Maxis is based, this is almost a guarantee.
