The Artist behind the ever popular Tokidoki, Simone Legno was spotted in San Diego’s Comic Convention wearing a Hello Kitty necklace.
“Tokidoki” meaning “sometimes” in Japanese was originally created by Simone Legno as a personal site to showcase his art style and love for Japanese culture. He became widely accepted as an artist and began designing for other companies such as LeSportsac.
The Comic-Con took place at the San Diego Convention Center from July 26 to 29 of 2007. The convention celebrates pop culture, especially Japanese styled animation. Tokidoki’s Japanese-inspired art form had hundreds of fans waiting in line for his autograph and sketches.
