Sanrio releases two Nintendo DS games staring the adorable Hello Kitty and her friends.
“Hello Kitty no Oshare Party Sanrio Character Zukan DS (DS)” was released on July 2007. It’s a collection of simple games like “dress up” and “fortune telling”.
The game can be played by one or two people.
In Hello Kitty no Gotouchi Collection: Koi no DokiDoki Trouble, Cameraman Dear Daniel went to travel across Japan and left behind his important Camera. Hello Kitty has to find a way to chase after Dear Daniel by doing some part-time jobs to pay for her travel expenses.
This game can only be played by one player.
Another Nintendo DS game called “Mainichi Suteki! Hello Kitty no Life Kit (DS)” is scheduled to be released on September 13, 2007. No pictures or information about this game has been released as of yet.

I wish that they would have the gotochi kitty lines in English speaking markets too! I’m very disappointed that the Japanese get all of the really cute games and more detailed games like “Hello Kitty no Gotouchi Collection: Koi no DokiDoki Trouble”. I thought the “Hello Kitty Big City Dreams” was ok but it was really meant for younger children as it was too easy to beat for me (under 1 hour). I really love the gotochi kitty collection so I would have loved to see something similar like Hello Kitty visiting the U.K. or the U.S.A.

There is one Hello Kitty DS game out in english that I know of. It’s Hello Kitty Big City Dreams. Although this was abvoiusly aimed toward younger gamers (ages 5-8 I would say), I played and completed this game, and found it extremely fun. It’s a little short, but full hearted dedicated Hello Kitty fans will find this game as fun as I did.
