Sanrio releases two Nintendo DS games staring the adorable Hello Kitty and her friends.

“Hello Kitty no Oshare Party Sanrio Character Zukan DS (DS)” was released on July 2007. It’s a collection of simple games like “dress up” and “fortune telling”.

The game can be played by one or two people.

In Hello Kitty no Gotouchi Collection: Koi no DokiDoki Trouble, Cameraman Dear Daniel went to travel across Japan and left behind his important Camera. Hello Kitty has to find a way to chase after Dear Daniel by doing some part-time jobs to pay for her travel expenses.

This game can only be played by one player.

Another Nintendo DS game called “Mainichi Suteki! Hello Kitty no Life Kit (DS)” is scheduled to be released on September 13, 2007. No pictures or information about this game has been released as of yet.

Japanese Actress Shida Mirai collaborates with Hello Kitty for a new line of Hello Kitty Product Designs released End of July 2007.

Shida Mirai is one of the most active child actresses in Japan. Born the 10th of May, 1993, she became famous after her breakthrough role as Kanda Kazumi in “Jo no Kyoshitsu”. It paved the way for more prominent roles such as Ichinose Miki in “14-year-old Mother”. She currently appears in many dramas and commercials.

A special edition Fuji Film Fine Pix Z5 camera has been released in Japan, featuring the adorable Hello Kitty, decorated with Swarovski Crystals.

The Z5 Digital Camera is a 6.3 Mega Pixel with 3 times optical zoom and 6.2 times maximum digital zoom. Its corresponding operating systems include Windows 98SE / ME / 2000Pro. / XP / Vista (Japanese Edition) as well as MacOS X (10.3.9 - 10.4.7). It weighs about 130g and is approximately 9.3cm x 5.5cm x 1.9cm. Batteries are not included (rechargeable lithium ion type recommended), and it uses an xD Memory Card.
