The Japanese Company of Computers in Japan known as NEC have released a pink, 15.4 inch Notebook PC designed with 299 pieces of Swarovski Crystals in Japan, for a price of 199,500 yen.
The notebook PC is a Sempron 3400+ (1.6 GHz) with a 1GB memory (maximum of 2GB) and a built in AMD ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 +!XP 460 video card. You get a 100GB HDD and a + R DL DVD drive. There is a USB port, Firewire port, Type 2 PC card slot, the SD card / memory stick (PRO), and wireless LAN. The nickel hydrogen battery can last for approximately 1.8 hours.
The Notebook PC is about 360mm x 260mm x 36.6-48mm in size and weighs about 3.3kg.
For the people who ordered this laptop before the end of June, they will receive a Swarovski heart charm for free. There is also a 1 month service for the maintenance regarding the Swarovski Crystals on the Notebook PC.

I would like to know what store and in what city can you see the notebook PC and purchase one to bring home to Hawaii? I will be touring the Central Part of Japan and will be in Tokyo for a day or so. Please let me know.

You’ll be able to find this is in Tokyo Shops, according to sources. Better hurry, because I hear it’s selling quickly.

From what I heard, this is currently being sold online in http://shop.sanrio.jp/ and they are having a sale of 525yen off the original price. Though nothing concrete as to whether or not they are shipping world wide.

Actually heres a tip.I decorated my laptop with Sanrio stickers the ones that looks like real swaroski from Hello Kitty and Chococat and ….looks real nice, I always get a compliment even from guys.I had them for a year and still looks like new.
They are cheap and fun to decorated …

This is so cool me and my dad were talking about getting me a new laptop. I don’t think he’ll buy me one about 3,000. I love Hello Kitty! This would still be cool to show my friends. Also I might just try putting stickers on it.
