Can I do my math puzzles while I jump up and down, doing hoolahoops while I’m trying to read Ulysses (and taking notes deciphering it)?

This release was a PR stunt, there is no worker abuse. Is it annoying to receive phone calls and have your blackberry buzz every minute? Do you lose focus and concetration?Yes you do, but that doesn’t mean you are dumber for it, you are just dumb for not turning it off so you can concentrate on your task at hand, it has nothing to do with being younger or older.

Japanese politicans are well known for being insensitive and it’s no big surprise that countries around Asia are annoyed by their behaviour, unfortunately there is no vote from foreigners even if their actions affect other Nations. The Japanese will have to do that themselves….

Viacom has taken down 100,000 Videos, including videos not even associated with Viacom.

While previous arguments have always been focused on the issue of Viacom  and the copyright fight, this post makes a hypothetical case that the bigger pictures is not about Copyright, but about defending a way of doing business (meaning traditional media) that is perhaps becoming outdated. It’s a fight for eyeballs and attention, if you can diminish traffic from the competition you end up winning somehow.

Other opinions state that Viacom should just simply stay out of this because they don’t understand the medium at all….
