They say that a good way to get away from the stress and monotony of everyday work is by learning an instrument. I actually play the guitar myself, and though I’m not an expert, I can tell you it really is a wonderful thing to get into.

In fact, the learning process itself is good enough reason to take up an instrument! And here we have two SanrioTown members who are doing just that.

In Tingal79’s blog, she talks about learning the piano, and from the looks of it’s she’s doing pretty well!

Usually people who study piano want to skip the “boring stuff” and get to playing, but this girl isn’t like that. Good for her!

Also, we have Sarah, who is learning to play the mandolin. It’s not a very common instrument, for a not-so-common genre: bluegrass. But she seems very enthusiastic about it as well, and even wants to go on learning the fiddle afterwards.
