I am having a great weekend thus far.

Yesterday, my next-door-neighbor (also my best friend), her little sister, another friend, and I went to the creek. The creek is in our neighborhood - we rode our bikes there. We found some nets that somebody had left there, so we used them to try and catch frogs or fish. Unfortunately, there was little sign of life in the water.

So, we walked in the creek (luckily, I was wearing flip-flops), far out into the trees. Occasionally stopping at the beaches, we looked for a cod that had been seen the other day. No sign of the cod. :(

But, at the end of the day, we did find a frog. We caught it, admired it, and then let it go.

I don’t know if you guys think this is fun, but it was fun for me. I had a great day yesterday.

How is your weekend going?

It’s Friday. So, logically, you can assume (correctly) that it is the day before Saturday.

And what’s so special about Saturday, you ask?

Saturday is special because tomorrow morning, I’m going to visit the dog breeder. She’s a Shih Tzu breeder, and she has a litter of puppies coming in July. The puppies will be short-haired, gray-and-white Shih Tzus.

I’m going to get a girl and I’ll name her Tibby!

You know what I’ve been very selfish about? I’ve been selfish about my blog posts. All I ever talk about is my life. So, in order to change that, if you have anything you want to tell me about YOUR life, please leave it in a comment.

The title of this post is not creative nor helpful to the reader. My apologies.

I have a play coming up (in 2 weeks) that I am going to perform in. It’s one of those murder mystery stories. Luckily, I don’t play the murderer. Instead, I play a frail, small, and frightened-looking woman. What a compliment. xD

I know I’m a bit negative in this post. But, today, I’m taking a mental health day. For the past while, I’ve just been going - everything’s been a TASK. But, today, I’m giving my mind a rest.

I had a birthday since I last spoke to you. I became a teenager. Since my best friend’s birthday is within a month of my birthday, we had a joint gift exchange. Since she’s obsessed with the Twilight books (and the movie), I gave her an autographed picture of Robert Pattinson. And she absolutely loved it - don’t you just love making other people happy? It makes me smile when they smile. xD

It’s a rainy, dreary, gloomy, depressed day. And that’s making me feel rainy, dreary, gloomy, and depressed. *Sigh* The sun’ll come out…

Speaking of which, I became obsessed with Annie (the movie) over the past few months. I love it. Though Aileen Quinn’s afro is not flattering, the story is enchanting and the music is no different. I feel a ping of dancing coming along…here it comes… It’s a hard-knock life!

I hope to write again later. Preferably when I’m feeling perkier. Maybe the sunwill come out tomorrow.
