That is rather annoying and silly.  They were probably trying to differentiate between users at hellokitty vs users at kuririn vs the other one, but this is all rather silly, since they’re all under the domain sanriotown.com

There is also poor handling on the blog page.  If I’m viewing my own blog, I have no control over any of it.  I have to be logged in on a separate tab to access any sort of administrator functions.

  1. This is totally turning into my Xanga. I’ll PM you the link.

  2. These spam protection questions are getting harder >_

  3. test

  4. So, my post got cut off, because of a right-pointy-bracket in my smiley. So I removed that line, added an explanation, and then added the rest of the post again. Now it says, “Duplicate comment detected; it looks as though you’ve already said that!”

  5. I will paste the original in parts. First, my comment about the original post being cut off:

P.P.S. We have code insertion. The right-pointy-bracket on my smiley killed the post. We could have some fun with that.

  6. uh… it says it posts, but it doesn’t… trying to post the rest .

  7. But that worked… wow. Unbelievable. Worse than Xanga.

  8. Adding random asterisks and dashes didn’t work. Going to try pasting line by line. Maybe a particular line has a character it doesn’t like.

  9. Now they tell me “You are posting comments too quickly. Slow down.” Dude, I’m trying to debug!

  10. .
Making your name “goobers:hellokitty.com” is a pretty crappy way to fix the problem.
    That’s mistake 2.

P.S. I typed “Thanks” instead of “That’s”. Then I fixed it.

  11. So it didn’t mind that last part of the original post…
What about the first part is the problem?!

  12. Tried Quotes around the whole thing. I’m going to remove all punctuation and try again.

  13. no go.

  14. I’ll try a few words at a time:
    Anyway

  15. “Error: You have entered the wrong sum in the spam protection field. Press the back button and try again.”

    What, 10+6 isn’t 16?
