This shot reminds me of my sister’s wedding last year. I don’t know if they also follow this in other countries, but here, a couple of doves are released during the reception (I don’t know for what reason, though).

Anyway, these are different from the doves we have now. These are pretty elegant, while our “pets” are now very plump, resembling little hens more than the elegant birds they’re known for.

They’re thinner here than they are now. Still, their being a bit fat is actually pretty cute.:)
