Black-and-White and Dew
I think I’ve mentioned earlier that I’m not really a fan of black-and-white photographs. There are some, however, that really fascinates me. Case in point: Isn’t it fascinating? The black-and-white adds to the beauty of the shot, which probably would not be as effective if it was in color. The color just adds to the ethereal feel of it, especially since the background of the image slowly fades to highlight the inner petals. You can even see practically every dew that is on its surface, giving it more dimension. In terms of black-and-white images, I don’t really have anything against these. I do love a lot of them, but not all. After all, some just seem faded out, others look as though the photographer was trying a little too hard to make the shot dramatic. This one is just right, though.:)

Even if it’s black and white, the image seems to pop to life.
