Bougainvillea
Here is the kind of bougainvillea that’s more common here in the country. This is also one of my mom’s plants. She actually has a bunch of these in different colors, as you can see below: Edit: This photo was a bit edited because the first one was too dark. Anyway, these are her bougainvilleas (you can see the red ones I posted in my last entry). The bracts really have a variety of colors, and it’s really quite pretty seeing these together. It’s also great when, after having reached a bit of height, the bracts slowly fall because of the wind, and a shower of it would fall on you. It’s almost like how the peach blossoms fall when you’re in Japan.
