I just want to interrupt the usual flow of my blog to post this picture. Sure, it’s pretty, but the color is not an indicator of health, because this shot shows pollution at its deadliest. Smog, the dual combo of smoke and fog hovers over most cities most days now, and this has caused a lot of disasters already, not the least being acid rain (if I remember ecology correctly).

It’s horrible how nature is dying. I honestly think that all of us should do our part in preserving it. We could start by lessening our resources consumption. I’m not saying we starve ourselves or whatever, but that we should cut back on things that we don’t really need. Does the kitchen light have to be turned on 24/7? Do we really need to take the car to the next block? Small things can make a lot of difference.
