Feather on the Water

One of my biggest fascinations when it comes to pictures are feathers. If you ask me why, I wouldn’t be able to answer you, because I don’t know myself.

I don’t like all feather pictures, mind. Say, if you give me a picture of a chicken with a lot of white feathers, I probably wouldn’t appreciate it as much (unless the chicken’s cute). I do like the ones taken artistically though, like the one I posted above. There’s something really dramatic about this solitary feather floating on water so still that it almost appears to be glass-like.

I didn’t take this picture though. I normally would cite what my sources are, but unfortunately, I saved this picture a long time ago and I can’t remember the website where this is from. I sincerely apologize to the owner of this photo for not recognizing him/her. If ever s/he, by some stroke of luck, happens upon my blog, I want to congratulate him/her for such an amazing job, and that I have no inentions of claiming this my own.
