Sunrise (For Once)
As the title says, I got this in the wee hours of the morning, and not my near-nighttime shots as I’m prone to do. Actually, this is like, a few seconds into the sunrise, so the picture isn’t that light yet, but it does hint a little color up there, which I think is pretty cool. I got this using my mom’s phone as we were traveling through this rural area, and this was a little fishpond we passed by. I’ve gotten some images of some ricefields, but I haven’t been able to save it to my computer yet. The dark area on the right side are some plants and trees, I believe. The quality isn’t great (it being taken with a camera phone, after all), but the mix of colors (shades of blue, the gray shadows of the clouds, and the hint of red from the sun) plus the reflections on the water still make it a pretty interesting photograph.
I also have some other sunrise pictures I might upload sometime soon (hopefully, I will remember to do so). These I got when I went on a retreat with some people. I woke up earlier than my roommate to take these shots, and I was so careful not to be seen traipsing about in my pyjamas by my elders in our Church community. That would’ve been a shock, to say the least.:P I really wanted to get nice shots, and while the weather that day (and the low resolution of my camera) didn’t really seem at par with what I had in mind, I got some interesting shots. Not great or really pretty, but alright, I guess.
Oh yeah, in case some of you are wondering, I don’t touch these photos using photoediting software, unless explicitly mentioned on the post. These are raw shots that I took, and the reason why I don’t edit these is because I think the natural ones look better, and its mistakes just add to their appeal.

The pond and all evergreen-natural sun rising of the photograph is beautiful and serene. I love it!
