*Chorus: AAA-WOOOOOOOO!!!!!*

Their chorus echoes throughout the mountains and a moment of silence engulfs the whole mountain. Its as if the mountain itself was listening to their plea.

A bone chilling reply. A long pronounced howl of a real wolf engulfs the air.

And from the shadows a great white wolf appears before them.

"I am the guardian of the mountain and I have been expecting you." Says the wolf who seemed to talk with his mind.

“Answer my riddle and you shall be rewarded with what you seek.”

The white wolf pauses for a moment, thinking of what sort of question would be suitable for these little frogs.

“It was is known as kuroi, standing tall and proud it was not noticed in the foreign land because the midorii had arrived early before it did. People shunned it for a time until the western spirits realized its power. After a year it became known as the shiro, people began to notice it because it borrowed a bit of its plumage from the midrorii. And by this time the western spirits granted it attention much to the joy of the people. A few weeks later it became known as the haiiro. With its shine and clear polish, it took interest in its homeland in the east as it supported one of its great undertakings depicting the symbol if this land’s past, the noble samurai.”

The white wolf pauses for a moment as he sees some of the little frogs try to grasp what he had just said.

“Finally,” continues the Wolf. “What is this object that I have just described? Take your time to answer for there is no second chance. I can wait forever so you have all the time you need.”
