It sucks I can’t truly say how I feel about these apps because it will insult many who are close to me.

I know I’ve ranted to some already, but held back the strongest angriest feelings.

Generally speaking the best I can say is there are SO MANY better ways to WASTE your time and others.  Video games, comics and TV to name a few.

I’m easy to entertain.  Anyone who’s seen me walk past a Hello Kitty display knows this.  All of these “What ____ are you?”, “Send a ____”, or any app that is a question are simply NOT entertaining.  Some are just made for/written by people that hope someone on their friends list will give a virtual vote of confidence in their otherwise worthless existence.  Then you have all the vampire, mobster, zombie, pirate and ninja battle apps.  I swear some loser invented these ‘cuz they missed LARPing.  The quiz apps aren’t so bad, but they’re usually written by one person which limits them greatly.  You’re better off googling a GOOD quiz somewhere else made by people who actually know what they’re talking about.  Lil’ Green Patch is borderline, as it supposedly does something good, yet still has you SPAM your friends.  Why not just go out and plant something if you’re that concerned about the environment?  At least then you have proof of something done.  I’d like to see just HOW they’re saving any rainforest as putting “you’ve saved __sq feet” doesn’t prove anything to me.  I could add html code to say I’ve saved any number I want.  MyCity is an ok concept, but if you’ve ever played a REAL SimCity game, why would you bother with such a featureless ripoff?  Especially one that tells you to SPAM your friends so your population, that does nothing but add lifeless buildings and numbers to a sidebar, actually grows by more than 1 person/day.  The apps that have video games in them are ok-awesome, but these have existed elsewhere on the ‘net since the mid-late 90’s.  I usually have better versions of these in my collection already so I still won’t bother.

This has been a public service announcement.

I dunno..  I current don’t have any friends in the HK community.  Maybe I should invite some that would like to join from Myspace or whatever..  but most of those people are Blog-sited out.

I was browsing the online store yesterday and was gawking at some of the expensive jewelry.  Hello Kitty face made out of diamonds..  simply amazing.  I don’t have to be a grrl to appreciate that.  When’s the last time you saw Mickey Mouse made out of diamonds??  Someday if such an item is still available I will get it for my wife or daughter or whoever is around me that would appreciate it most..   now I just have to work on becoming rich enough to afford it….

I really wish HKO’s open beta would start already.  I feel so lame for missing the closed one.
