I accompanied my mom and sister to the parlor this morning. The place was sure packed for an ordinary day. Then I realized that tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. Ohhh~ So the ladies are sure preparing for their dates on this special occassion. No beauty entry this time. I think you ladies are already busy with your make-up bags.

Everyday is Valentine’s Day for me. Ohohoho! It’s not only on that day that I will show my love for my significant other. We rarely see one another as it is because of work and our locations, so why wait for Valentine’s Day to arrive? I know it’s the time to honor love, but with traffic all over the place, jam-packed restaurants and definitely over-priced gift items, why bother when you can have a date some other day?

Of course, as a woman, I still couldn’t remove the fact that IT is Valentine’s Day. Sometimes the heart doesn’t get along with the mind and the atmosphere that the season brings gives that “must celebrate” feeling.

I’ve always been telling myself to be very mature when it comes to these things and not be sour grapes just because my significant other and I couldn’t celebrate on the day itself. It actually helps when having a mindset that everyday is a special day.
