American actress Anne Hathaway will be the new ambassador for Lancome!

“Anne Hathaway is a radiant young woman who perfectly embodies modern femininity,” said Odile Roujol, president of Lancôme International, in a brief statement. “We know she will portray all the passion and excitement of our new fragrance, to be launched throughout the world in September 2008.”

Anne Hathaway will be joining the ranks of the most beautiful and glamorous women for Lancome like Kate Winslet, Isabella Rosselini and Uma Thurman.

The 25-year-old star will front Lancome’s as-yet unrevealed newest fragrance in both print and television adverts.

The fragance is due to be launched globally in September this year.
