Cathay Pacific New Business Class

Monday, September 24th, 2007

Today I experienced Cathay Pacific’s new business class, and I am glad to say that it is a real improvement where it really does seem like they actually listened to their customers, for starters it is a full flatbed configuration as you can see from the image below.

Some of the other features are:

  • Fully adjustable seat with massage function.
  • 60" seat pitch, converts to 6-foot 6-inch fully flat bed.
  • Ottoman to provide generous storage area.
  • 15" personal television with noise-reducing headset.
  • Bi-fold table design for larger dinning and working area.
  • In-seat power for laptop computer and USB data port.
  • Unrestricted aisle access for each seat.

The one major disadvantage is that the seats are narrow, if you’re sort of skinny like me you don’t have a problem, but if you’re biggish (I’m thinking 180 pounds +) then you won’t be liking those seats at all.
