Wouldn’t you want to be in this kind of Christmas atmosphere too? I would
I’ve never experienced Christmas during the winter season before-where there’s late night shopping combined with snow falling from the sky. (Winter Wonderland)… I really wish I could spend Christmas like that one day…
School ended last week for us and right now, you just don’t feel the Christmas spirit where I live… it’s currently raining and not many people are bothered to shop for gifts. Well, the true meaning of Christmas is the birth of Jesus Christ and that’s something to keep in mind…
School starts on January 29th, next year and I’ll be in YEAR 11!!!! It’s the first year for NCEA exams for me so I’ll be working extra hard-trying to get more than 80 credits, as many excellences as possible as well as trying to get onto the Academic Honour Roll! Working hard may make me exhausted but when exams are over in November (early December), I’ll be flopping and lazing about with a satisfied face that the dreaded fear of exams is over-except anxiously waiting for the results that arrive in early January!!! Sadly, there is no uniform change in Year 11 (only in Years 12 and 13) because we’re still considered as “Juniors” and we’ll be wearing those ugly striped white shirts for another year…
I wish everyone a very….
MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
All the best for 2008-the year of the RAT!
Always,
Shanelle
