Goodbye, September
September 30th, 2010 by emilydonegia:hellokitty.comWednesday, the middle of the week. I don’t mind Wednesday too much. Only 2 classes for the day (Intro to Visual Art & First Year Seminar). I must say my Intro to Visual Art class was quite interesting today. I am going to ask everyone the same question that my art teacher asked us this morning: “What does Beyonce’s music video (Single Ladies), an episode of MTV Cribs (Soulja Boy), and Bowe Birds all have in common? You think about that, and I will post my answer (extra credit writing assignment) up tomorrow. Surprisingly enough, they actually share something very in common. First Year Seminar was a miserable 45 minutes of my life. I don’t understand why we jump around to several different assignments every other day. One day it could be making a football roster on powerpoint, the next day writing a paper MLA, APS, ACA, and Chicago style papers. I now have to prepare a two-minute presentation on my assigned fallacy (unrepresentative sample). Lovely..
After finishing class, I took the TTA bus, and went to Wal-Mart for a little shopping trip. Sure it was a lot of fun, but I only had to buy the essentials of life- laundry detergent, body soap, face wash, cleansing pads, a notebook, schultz pretzels, and soy milk! This is exactly what $20 looks like:
