Iglesia Ni Cristo: Nontrinitarian Believers of the Holy Trinity

An excerpt from wikipedia:

“Ang Doxolohiya”

This is the doxology used in Iglesia ni Cristo worship services.

Purihin natin ang ama
Mabuhay sa pag-ibig ng anak
Taglayin ang espiritung banal
Ang Diyos ay lagi nating sambahin. Amen.
Approximate Translation:
Let us praise the Father
Live in the love of the Son
Carry [with us] the holy spirit
Let us always worship God. Amen.

Again, From wikipedia:

The Iglesia ni Cristo (IPA: [iːˈglɛ.ʃɑː niː ˈkriːstəʊ]) (also known as INC or Iglesya ni Kristo ; literally Tagalog for Church of Christ) is an independent, nontrinitarian[1] Christian church that originated in the Philippines[2] The INC was incorporated in the Philippines by Felix Y. Manalo on July 27, 1914;[3] The church professes to be the reestablishment of the original church founded by Jesus and claims that the original church was apostatized. It does not accept the doctrine of the Trinity, as well as the Divinity of Jesus.[4][5]

So, the INC does not believe the Trinity and yet, they sing about it everytime as their doxology?

Clearly, the INC is the National Lampoon of Religions, a spoof of a number of religions, a coconction of various doctrines, Plagiarismic episodes… If those doctrines they copied were copyrighted, chances are to this day, it will be called piracy.

  1. Rizalino L. Arrabis Says:

The mention of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in the doxology of the Iglesia ni Cristo does not in any way show that the church believes in the holy trinity for that belief in the triune god is nowhere found in the
bible except in the corrupt minds of the catholic fathers, who by reason of political expediency, resorted to such brazen spiritual mistakes.
Common sense dictates that if each one in the so called trinity be considered as God, then the result would be in direct contravention to simple arithmetic which would confuse and negate the sound thinking of even the brightest genius. The sum or total would then be three if each one of them is counted and considered as God. What happens then to the
belief that there is only one God? Questions would then readily ensue if we
continue to stick with the notion of a triune god. What are the possible questions? The following are:
    1. Is one plus one plus one equals one?
    2. If Christ the Son is God, who then is his only begotten son?
    3. If the Holy Spirit is God, who then is his only begotten son?
    4. Who then is the mother of God the Father and of the Holy Spirit?
    5. Did God the Father and the Holy Spirit died?
    6. How would you be able to nail the Spirits in the cross?
These are just some of the questions although a lot could be made if the
angle of a triune god is to be pursued. And if we try to answer these questions by using the bible, it would be futile for us to do so. However, if the belief of just One True God, the Father, is being uphold, we will never
encounter such problems for the answers in the scriptures are readily available without doubt.
To the detractors of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, may you read the history of the catholic and protestant churches in order for you to get notice of its historical and doctrinal deceptions or blunders. The purgatory doctrine is now relegated to the dustbin of history by the RCC and would the daughters [protestant churches] of the Great Harlot follow?
