There’s always a Nintendo Wii for everybody. Even the Queen of England plays one.

She even has a special gold unit for herself! The gaming company, THQ had a gold plated unit made for the Queen which also coincides with their new game, Big Family Games.

The gold plated unit was sent to Bukingham Palace as part of a marketing stunt to promote the game. The game contains 24 classic family games that everyone can enjoy.

THQ brand manager, Danielle Robinson said, "BIG Family Games is the ultimate Wii game to get all family members, from grandparents to young children, playing together. The Royal Family is arguably the most important family in the country so we felt that they had to have a copy of the new game. But we thought that Her Majesty the Queen wouldn’t want to play on any old console, so an extra-special gold one was commissioned. We hope that she and the rest of the Royal Family enjoy the game!"
