Tom Nook. Yes.Yes.

Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

tom nook Oh yes, Tom Nook, the shop owner from the game Animal Crossing. I’m one of his fans now. XD His dream is to have the most successful shop. Whether you buy or sell things in his shop, the more he gets closer to his dream.

tom nook2 I’m playing Animal Crossing now for Nintendo DS and Nook has reached his ultimate store, Nookingtons! With a brand new, two-storey building, he has increased his item selection, opened a salon and even employed his two nephews, Tommy and Timmy. They are very hyper and often echo each other. Like Tom Nook, they follow you around the upper floor of the store that they manage. They are the heads of the furniture department of the store.

tom nook3 Come to think of it, he’s probably the most powerful character in Animal Crossing. He holds the mortgage of your house, runs a big department store and even employed relatives who are most likely below legal age. XP So powerful indeed. Be careful when dealing with Tom Nook, you don’t know what he’s capable of doing.

(Wii version)

mario kart wii Mario Kart is heading to the Nintendo Wii and it’s bigger than ever. The game boasts a new experience which still includes the intense Mario Kart action you’ve come to know and love with a few added bonuses like an online feature, including battle mode for the first time ever and motorcycles! New tracks, vehicles and characters are also expected.

The game comes with the Wii Handle (Wheel) which transform your Wii Remote into a steering wheel that feels natural in anyone’s hands.

Zelda: The Phantom Hour Glass Stylus

Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

Readers will definitely say I’m obsessed. Yiiiz! ROFL! I can’t explain the feeling, but as a collector I always have a knack for these things. For most, one stylus is enough. For me though, it’s not just a stylus, it’s a treasure.

I stumbled upon this beauty on eBay, but the price is not right! Maybe sooner or later I’ll be able to get hold if this. It’s a really elegant looking DS stylus based on The Legend of Zelda. I don’t know if this was sold alone or was bundled as a pre-order bonus for The Phantom Hourglass DS game. Just look at that feather-shaped beauty in it’s elegant box. It will be like using a quill while playing.

stylus

Mwahahaha! Nintendo DS stylus overload! For those who are having a hard time in holding the bundled stylus with your DS units, this might be just the thing for you. These are actually capsule toys which can be bought from gashapon machines, and I thought they only make trading figures for those machines. XD Heh! These gashapon machines really makes my wallet empty. Anyway,  you just insert a certain number of coins or tokens into the machine and get a random design.

These are really nice looking pen-type stylus. Can be used or just for show. :P I only wanted to have 2 of those to play a certain game, but ended up buying the whole set. So now there’s a stylus for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and so on. XD
