Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008

(DS version)

jump ult Jump Ultimate Stars is the sequel to one of the best selling games of 2005, Jump Super Stars. It is the second collaboration between Nintendo of Japan and Jump magazine, this time incorporating 300 characters from 40 Shonen Jump properties.

The "Koma" battle system will still be used in this sequel with the original 4-by-5 grid and touch screen support. However a number of improvements have been made, including calling support characters into battle via L/R button, without using the touchpad. Characters can now cling on to ledges when falling adjacent to them and some of the stages include areas that can be reached by destroying walls, even the floor and ceiling.

As another major improvement, Jump Ultimate Stars now supports Wi-Fi battles, which allows gamers all around the world to combat against each other.

Elite Mainstream

Monday, April 21st, 2008

Considered as collectibles in the games and mainstream category. Everybody gets the chance to own one, but the chances are still low. The items bundled with the game are FREE but are only given away when pre-ordered from selected stores.

March was really hell. The gaming industry is evil! Releasing a lot of good games all at the same time. @_@ It really hurts in the pocket now, but it’s definitely worth it.

(Wii version)

okami wii Celebrated on PS2 for its absorbing puzzle and action adventure mechanics, gripping narrative inspired by Japanese folklore and beautiful water color visuals, its rebirth on Wii has been much hyped.

The game also lends itself rather well to the potential of Nintendo’s Wiimote for control. Amaterasu’s Celestial Brush - a paintbrush used in combat and for solving puzzles - is a perfect fit for the Wiimote, and so it proves, while combat will also include various "motion-controlled physical attacks".

I like the one without the face. Hehe. Custom Hello Kitty anyone? As for the ribbon face, it’s a bit disturbing.

Metroid Gunship

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

gunship3 First 4 Figures is proud to present a new collection of models based on the different gunships in the Metroid universe. The first ship in the line up is Samus Aran’s gunship based on the version seen in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.

The model has been painstakingly recreated from original game files to bring about the most accurate representation of Samus Aran’s gunship from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.

There are over 50 LED lights throughout the model. On the actual gunship, the windscreen and the four engines at the back all light up. When you turn off the lights, the LEDs very slowly turn off with a fading light effect. On the base, there are LEDs that create a circle light movement.

The point where the ship connects to the base has a swivel joint which lets you tilt and angle the ship to any angle that you want. Comes with a screwdriver to secure desired position.

This is an official licensed Nintendo product. Edition is only limited to 750 pieces. Comes with a hand-numbered base and a certificate of authenticity. Scheduled to be released on June 2008.
