Peacemaker Pig "Saizo" Cap

Monday, February 25th, 2008

This is a cute cosplay cap based on the funny pig character named Saizo from the anime series Peacemaker. This little piggy looks constantly pissed. Hehe. But don’t worry, you will not feel the same way as he does  once you own this hat.

Gundam 00 Portraits

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008

Another blind box challenge. I’m only after one character, but it seems I’ll be able to complete the set. Hehe. Yup, that’s the risk with blind box, you’ll never know what you’re going to get. They’re not cheap either. @_@ They all look so nice though and is worth collecting.

Tiny Titans

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

I was reviewing my comic book list the other day and saw this title, Tiny Titans #1 from DC Comics. Intriguing indeed.

Awwww yeah, Titans! This title will still showcase all your favorite Titans, in their cutest possible form, and they’re waiting for you! It’s intended for the youngest of readers, with short stories and puzzles, and simple, cartoony art, but I think hardcore comic book fans will also love this title.

Issue 1:

See what life is like at Sidekick Elementary and meet the new staff! Follow the madness that ensues when Beast Boy gets a puppy friend! Witness what happens when the girls meet a pink stranger with a melted ice cream cone! Find out what makes Cassie such a trendsetter!

The Women of DC: Anime Style

Monday, February 18th, 2008

Udon Entertainment is known for their Capcom releases. They have Street Fighter comics, artbooks, etc. Just last month though, they have released their envisioned DC Comics women vinyl figures!

As part of the Ame-Comi vinyl line of DC Direct, here are the first two figures, Batgirl and Catwoman, designed by Udon artist Noi Sackda.

More fantastic figure will be released in the next few months: Powergirl, Supergirl, Wonder Woman and Cheetah. Don’t miss your chance on these limited, hand-painted figures. XD

Lego Star Wars

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

Woooo! Lego Star Wars! This has been in my shelf for so many years already. This is the Obi-wan Kenobi vs General Grievous set, as seen in Star Wars Episode 3. I like Obi-wan’s ride, which is called a Boga.

Boga was one of the fastest varactyl to be tamed by the Utai beast tamers. She was thirty nine hands tall at her shoulder, fifteen meters long and possessed a magnificent crest of blue, purple and green feathers.

Though a large creature, Boga had a silent tread, quiet enough to sneak into the rafters of the tenth level compound of General Grievous. There, Obi-Wan was able to confront the Separatist commander. As their duel erupted into a chase, Kenobi called for Boga and the loyal creature carried the Jedi general in pursuit of Grievous.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Gihren no Yabou - Axis no Kyoui

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

Expected with any Gundam video game, this new PSP title is another heart-stopping turn-based strategy title.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Gihren no Yabou - Axis no Kyoui is a hexagonal strategy game. Distribute your forces and move them in a strategy phase, then players get to battle enemies in a turn-based combat. You’ll be able to see scenarios from previous Gundam titles and franchises to play through. Like a particular Gundam title? You’ll still enjoy this game because you’ll still find something that you’d like.

The title is expected to have 20-30 hours of gameplay with 400 different robots. So turn-based, strategy games enthusiasts and Gundam fanatics, don’t miss out on this new PSP title.

As an added stress to your turn-based gaming experience, a Gundam PSP unit was also released to match this game.

Pikachu Gameboy Advance SP

Monday, February 11th, 2008

I couldn’t resist it…it was Pikachu afterall. @_@ I got this limited edition unit from the mall. Mall prices wasn’t so bad for this unit compared to specialty gaming shops. I also got some free games, accessories and 1 year warranty.

Rareness indeed, since this is an iQue unit. iQue is also owned by Nintendo but they only have units made exclusively for the China market. They even have a Mario edition, a Metroid version was also released but is hard to find now even in internet shops.

I think quality wise, iQue units are also good compared to their Japanese and American counterparts. But…but…almost everything is made in China now, right? Oh well, that doesn’t matter, just as long as it’s Pikachu! O_O Bzzzzt!

Gundam C.I. Boys

Thursday, February 7th, 2008

I believe Red Magic is Hongkong’s very own designer toy company. They have entered the world of stressful blind box opening with C.I. Boys. I like how they merged their unique C.I. Boys molds with the Japanese phenomenon, Gundam!

I like the squinting Zaku, there’s supposed to be a crying version too. These little guys are super limited edition of 999 boxes! Their limited number adds more to the already stressful randomness. @_@

Moogle and Chocobo

Monday, February 4th, 2008

Oh noooo! Another unattainable! >.< Oh well, that’s what makes life interesting. Hehe.

Just look at that diorama…two of the most lovable characters in the Final Fantasy series…a Moogle and a Chocobo…together! The reason why I can’t have this…the seller doesn’t ship to my country… :( sadness…

I’ve been staring at this picture for days. It gives that false feeling of actually owning it. Bleh! Hehe.

One of these days I’ll get find a way to put you in my treasure shelf! Mwahahaha!
