Ok.. this is my first time to write something related to hello kitty and I am quite unsure if this is a good start. hahaha Oh well.. i sorta’ chuckled when I saw this but I thought, on the hand, that wouldn’t it be nice if I actually had and use one to my future pedia patients? (btw, I’m a nurse) Maybe they wouldn’t mind a hello kitty thermometer being shoved up into their….hahaha It’s kinda cool, you know? :)

Kill me for being impulsive! haha Naah Recently, I’m dragging my BF all over metro manila malls for my spring coat hunt! or any cold climate clothing, for that matter. I’m having my early shopping to prevent cramming and buying stuff that i will regret afterwards. So I have seen candidates and potential buys mostly in Zara but it’s quite expensive for me despite their 30% off on coats and jackets. Besides our planned trip to Baguio with polkadotrn this April to invade the “ukay-ukays” or thrift shops , I have been on a constant prowl at ebay for sweaters, coats and jackets. So here’s my latest online purchase– Authentic MNG white sweater! I won it for a total of 655php (US$15.99) (inclusive of shipping) and it’s used only once! hahaha Not bad, if you’re gonna ask me. I really went all out for this one! starting bid is 350php, another bidder wants it so bad too but, again, I outsmarted her and placed my final bid at the last 40 seconds. hahaha Her final bid was 650php. I won by 5php. hahaha

Ever since I tried Ilog Maria, I can’t get enough of organic and all natural products! After years of searching for a perfect beauty regimen, I can say that I have found my HG (holy grail). My skin has a mind of its own, it’s crazy! One day it’s dry, then oily then one day breakout galore with red blotches all over, etc… I never thought that my skin was sensitive until I read about mineral make ups that don’t contain preservatives or harsh chemicals. So after trying them out myself, I had been a mineral make up convert and swore not to go back to conventional make ups. Let’s just say I am now more conscious on what to put on and inside my body and the results have been very dramatic. So triggered by this MMU addiction, I have soon looked for products which share the same concept with the MMU and that’s when Ilog Maria caught my attention. Yet, I have recently made another discovery of organic soaps that even show how many percent natural a bar is! Amazing, right?

By Nature Handmade Soaps contain NO chemical preservatives, hardeners or additives. They are made with food-grade vegetable oils such as coconut oil, palm oil, and olive oil and are lovingly made using the cold-process method. With this soapmaking method, BY NATURE Handmade Soaps (BNHS) are made completely from scratch. No short-cuts or pre-manufactured bases and you get all the goodness of naturally-formed glycerin, too!” You can also read reviews from those who have used BNHS and all they have are praises and wows!

One exciting thing about these soaps is their variety of scents! Of course, don’t get me wrong, I still love and am loyal to Ilog Maria, but what’s the hurt in trying them out and having 2 or more different bars for bathing? One scent per day! hahaha I have already convinced 3 of my girlfriends to try out organic products of Ilog Maria and now another product line is put into test! I’ll post soon reviews about BNHS hahaha I wanna try Icy choco, Milkenhoney, Baby blue, Fair Geranium, Strawberry Milkshake and Utter Bliss! ( Ok, there’s gonna be a hole in my pocket again!) Soaps are categorized to Regular, Special and Premium and each bar costs 85php to 115php to 145php, respectively. They only differ in the ingredients used but they are all reasonably priced, IMO.For Metro Manila sanriobloggers, Girls, they will be at Souk on April 6, 2008. It will be held at the Power Plant Mall’s Plaza Drive (in front of Starbucks, Cibo, Crustacia, Dencios). The Souk will be open from 7:00am-3:00pm and entrance is FREE!  (and I have already booked my BF to accompany me there! That’s why I need to save up and do one heck of soap hoarding!) hahahaha See you there!

Ebay ebay ebay!! I am a confessed ebay addict! hahaha So here’s another minidress I came across as I browse the Women’s clothing section in Ebay. This I found with mega coolness written all over!

Don’t be fooled! It’s simple but turn to the back and…

hahaha.. It’s really cute!

Let me relive my childhood days! haha Growing up with 3 brothers is not easy. By that I mean you must constantly try to fit in and go along with their interests to secure a place in the pack. My brothers ( elder, Reg, and younger, Rhys) are die-hard fanatics of the Final Fantasy franchise. I recall them not sleeping or sometimes taking turns to sleep while the other is continuing the game. Anyway, thanks to them, FF is not foreign to me. I love FF8 because of the Squall-Rinoa love team. (Yeah yeah, girls are suckers for romance). Who cannot forget “Eyes on me“? You can forgive some errors in grammar of the lyrics.. hahaha If you heard the orchestra version already, then I think you will agree with me that one was good. Makes me cry.. <sniff sniff>..

When you hear To Zanarkand, without even seeing or knowing about FF10, you can mistake it as a score used on tragic-drama films.

Originally it is on piano version but the orchestra, is way better, IMO. (Please try to click on the two links if you haven’t heard them yet.) After listening to it, I’m left with the “heavy feeling in the chest”. Maybe it did deliver the kind of emotion it was intended to convey to it’s listeners. When songs are usually composed of lyrics and music, this one doesn’t need lyrics at all. Up to now, my brothers and I are arguing what the song is all about.. hahaha Regardless of what to zanarkand is really about, there’s no doubt, that this one is NOT forgettable. (correct me, Mr. Cowell).. haha
