I had a busy weekend, which is kinda good. I need to get out more.
Weaving Works had thier annual mother’s day sale and I feel like I made out like a bandit. I found some bee yoo tif ul ladder yarn for under a dollar a ball.

That alone would have made my day, but then I went to the Emerald City Step Show to repRHOsent and enjoyed myself even more, even though my child seemed hellbent on destroying my sanity. Her bladder timing is way off. I ask if she had to go to the restroom during the intermission and she says no. The second the next act comes up on stage, she has to go… real bad.
My sister had a “prom” for her co-workers- she is 21 and that was ok. I don’t think I am a big partier. I can’t handle alcohol at all, I like to sit in a corner and eat finger foods. But I didn’t this time, I drank and I never will again, I swear on Hello Kitty’s bow. Ok, maybe I’ll have a nip here and there, but I will never drink like that again.
After I walked the 3 blocks home from my sister’s house, I went straight to bed. I woke up at seven in the morning, and swore to never ever drink again. I cleaned up the bathroom- which must be another side affect of hangovers and went to sleep again. My daughter woke me up and wished me a happy Mother’s Day. I went back to sleep and then my neighbors, my daughter and her father proceeded to wake me up again. Drats! So that was my que that I would not sleep anymore that day. I went to my neighbors house and hung out for awhile, I was going to go to a movie, but I did not feel like going. So my daughter and I took a shower and I left by MYSELF- whoo hoo- and did a little shopping. I bought a nice Hello Kitty comforter for ME ME ME and only ME.- this will not end up on anyone else’s bed. My daughter’s father called me about 15 times though wanting to know when I would be home. I said NEVAH! But I did eventually go home so I could put my new comforter on my bed and clean up a little so I could enjoy it. My neighbor’s daughter made a great meal for us and I closed out a weekend feeling rested for a change.
Yippee!
