Do not stand at my grave and weep
Possibly written by Mary Elizabeth Frye

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints of snow.
I am the sunlight in ripen grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die.

Poupee girl is an online persona that you create in form of a virtual doll.  The point of the game is: dress up your Poupee~ meaning ‘doll’ in French- in fashion items ranging from clothes, make-up, accessories, and take a snapshot of her daily outfit. Basically, she is a modern paper doll, only cuter!

You can buy items off the free market or the special event shop. Some past events include V-day, Christmas, Parasol weeks and the current Pajamas Party. Raise ribbons (poupee currency) by uploading fashion related pictures from your closet, buying and selling poupee items. Get more ribbons, buy adorable stuffs and be the cutest girl on the block!

Playing poupee girl is highly addictive, so get ready to spend every waking minutes in a hell (heaven in disguise) full of ribbons-collecting and unhealthy obsession with little vector drawings. True story.

Here is my alter ego revertigo, Bellatrix in her today’s outfit:
Looking as cute as ever with the new pink socks, new sparkly ring, new fishnet stocking, new bunny slipper and new room decoration. The pink bag is also new and so is the jacket. I should have just mentioned the three things that are not new but I chose to brag a little not to make my life easier.

On other days~

Unlike me, she has straight black hair and a very skinny figure, hence the tan, to avoid further suspicion.

Add me if you already have a poupee account!!!! Or, or… I can send an invite if you wish to join. That will give both of us 30 ribbons extra~ 8D

About three things I’m absolutely positive:
First, in spite of already having 8 parasols, I still want to buy another two or three.
Second, upon seeing this, I want to buy them too. I have 11 ribbons left and am so doomed!
And third, I’m unconditionally and irrevocably obsessed with Poupee Girl :)

Just to let people know that I’m neither abducted by Roswell aliens nor am I still upset that on the trip to Singapore, I got stopped by the immigration officers not once, not twice but *three* times, I’m challenging myself to write an entry within 5 minutes. One of the stated above is sadly true, guess which. Apparently no broadband connection inside UFO’s.

………………………………………………………………………………………………..

O.K.! I’ve only been obsessing over the legen~dary show of all eras, How I met your mother, and its legend-wait for it and I hope you’re not lactose-intolerant because the second half of this word is-DARY character that is
Barney Stinson (will elaborate).

I’m also in the race to save more ribbons in three days in order to buy those cute parasols up there (will elaborate). My fave is the red and pink ones :D I want to buy the first four eight though (both open and closed).

Anywho. Episode 11 of Samantha Who made me realise that working people arrive at their offices before the clock strikes 9 AM. Despite my lack of career life, I’m making a vow to start sleeping earlier. Like 1 am, is a good start. You know the saying. Don’t dream too high, start v. sloow …

One more episode of HIMYM and I’ll be tucked up~ :) The next entries will be legend-wait for it…

Tomorrow (tommorow? whichever) morning, my dad will be driving us to Singapore. Our one-month stay limit in Malaysia is up soon and we have to extend for another one, by passing over the Malaysian border. 3 months hoppings from hotel to hotel, I MISS HOME (and seafood) T_T

~~~
Our itinerary is as follows: drive to Singapore through Johor Bahru border, follow a U-turn back to Johor, then stay the night at Melaka (where yummy food comes from!) .
The reason why we aren’t staying in Singapore instead, is not because I don’t want to meet Tingal (wrong).
It’s more because the (unfortunate) times my father did drive us to Singapore and stayed, we either got lost for hours trying to find our way back (he doesn’t know Spore streets well, and by well I mean, at all), or that one time, we brought in way too many cans of Carlsberg and got hold back at the immigration. Sure, 10 cans of beer grants suspicion for smuggling activity after all, LOL.
The last time, my lil brother, Tommy, actually had to stay at the Johor immigration office for an hour while we did our U-Turn. His new passport was apparently too new as it didn’t have the stamps to prove that he ever crossed the ocean from Indonesia to Malaysia (duh!). The officer insisted that my brother couldn’t pass the border. He ended up spending the entire time watching an old Indonesian telenovela playing on TV. Who knew that immigration office can double as a daycare center.
Anyway, crosses fingers and hope this time, it turns out O.K. ~ :D
FOOD, food, and MOAR food~ here we come!
I wish I were a little better at English. The thought crossed my mind when one of my old classmates (jokingly?) asked me when I am going to publish my English novel. I was like, I blog to differ? D: Okay, bad pun. My English has been deteriorating in lightning speed for some time. What with my graduating from college and stepping down as moderator in CT, I don’t really have people with whom I can speak / type English to anymore. I already have problem in writing this blog. If this keeps going on, I’ll be lucky to form a coherent sentence every now and then x___X
Everyone here seems to be very fluent both in speaking and writing. I wonder how do you guys learn and practise? I know some countries are just more exposed to the language in daily basis. But I’m not even that great in Indonesian either, so IDK.
I didn’t learn the normal way, I don’ t think. *long story warning* I started at age 14 by way of heavy reading, and even that was only because I was laughed at in class when I mistakenly wrote ’shit’ instead of ’sheet’. That was embarassing XD Anyway, should I peruse my dictionary often? And by often I mean, more than once? I honestly think the only time I ever consult my dictionary, which I conveniently left in Indonesia, is always to see if the word ‘tomorrow’ goes with 2 m’s or 2 r’s. I can’t seem to remember which, no matter how frequently I googled it. As for the rest of the vocabularies in the English language, I could never be bothered to check and used my lucky guess instead (and here I’m wondering why I am bad at it, lol).
Comments and tips are LOVED, merely reading this will be LOVED and THANKED WITH MISTY EYES.  And until I somehow manage to master the skill to write decently, please bear with constant bad English, grammatical errors and lots of movie references.
P.S. I just found a recording of Hugh Laurie (Dr. House), our favorite Vicodin addict, singing a song titled, ‘Steffi is an angel’. The lyrics are dedicated to the tennis prodigy, Steffi Graff (also the origin of my name). I mean, Steffi is officially a song title. How cool am I is that?
