Almost there…

iPod Classic 80GB n_n

Anorexic iPod.

N73 is not famed for taking good pics.
iPod Classic 80GB
Cons:
- Need iTunes 7. I don’t have!
- Have to convert .avi, the most common video files, to .mp4. Tiring Job! But now that we have iPod_video community in LJ… ![]()
- Relatively smaller LCD screen, e.g. when compared to Zune.
- Menu control somewhat a bit sluggish.
- May stutters when multi-tasking.
- Earbuds quality. Okay, I didn’t spot this, the professional reviewers did, but everytime I look at them now, they scream mediocrity :[
- Metal backside prone to scuffs.
- Might get into trouble when my dad reclaims his iTunes 7-installed laptop.
- Not available in soft pink / strawberry red color :[[
Pros:
+ Large file storage. 80GB = your own personal skinny hard drives.
+ iPod Classic 80GB = $ 249, iPod Nano 4GB = $169 …
+ Battery life: 5 hours video and 30 hours music. With no backlight. IRL, the battery runs out faster.
+ Awesome quality movies!
+ Large file storage. Rawr.
+ 1161 songs and full-length audiobooks, 343 photos and 75 videos (not including songs from my old mac) = current free space 56.7 GB.
… Still a best buy for my case.

Or is it?

Ok. Bad reference to the super thrilling manga, ‘Monster’, which you really should give a try. [/end of advertisement]. Will elaborate on future entries.
Tim Kang is an American-born Korean actor who played the role of an Asian soldier in Rambo IV along with Sylvester Stallone.
I’ve always found it interesting how a small part in big budgeted movies can give previously unknown actors the recognition they all deserve (Kang’s picture wasn’t even Google-able -_-). Sometimes, they even manage to outshine the lead actor in process.
Like, you know, how the new future hubby of mine, Ashraf Barhoum practically stole the movie from Jamie Foxx in ’The Kingdom’.

Definitely wins hands down. Acting-wise I mean.
Back to Kang. I like his few scenes in Rambo IV, especially the one [SPOILER] with him spitting on the ground when held at gun point- dude, I wonder who cleaned it [/End of SPOILER]. He has this vibe that reminds me of So Ji Sub. If you know who the latter is…? Memories of Bali? I’m Sorry I Love You? Yep, that one.
Anyho, talk about gory Sweeney Todd, Rambo IV is a bloodbath! Eww. Definitely not recommending it if you have a dinner plan afterwards :X The new and possibly last installment classifies as a ”Plot, what Plot?” genre, with a record-breaking of 236 bloody, bombed, mutilated deaths throughout. My mum thinks that the killings were cool. Eh.
For a 60 something actor, Stallone was really fit, nevermind his steroid filled muscles. Still, I like him much better in Rocky Balboa. And have I mentioned he was brilliant in the reality boxing tv show, ‘The Contender’?

… Goodies?
Uploaded it for you, you and you. The super awesome musical, Sweeney Todd, easily one of the best movies of all times, as I see it anyway. Mp4 files for iPod & iTunes.

Part 2: http://www.sendspace.com/file/rifeiq
And the songs ‘Johanna’ and ‘Pretty Women’ (starts at minutes 2:40) from the movie.
…..
P.S. Exactly when did blog turn into a movie and download links filled blog again? 0.o
P.P.S. I seem to always have a thing for long boring entries *lol* bear with me pls.
P.P.P.S. this really is a movie blog O.O
I have planned to post this when I first found out, which was like ages ago, but I got carried away with Sweeney Todd (Sorry! But… Alan Rickman!! Helena Bonham Carter!!! Johnny Depp!!!!) :X The nearest cinema decided to skip the movie, and go for Ironman instead. Boo. But there can be nothing stopping me, I downloaded it. How smart of me.
Anyway, some quick Harry Potter stuffs.
1. The name map of the 2nd generation of Harry Potter, from the now opened Room of Requirement in JKRowling.com.

I ♥ the name Lily Luna, even though there are kind of too many L’s in the name, like Smallville (Lex Luthor, Lana Lang, Louis Lane, if you catch my drift
).
Image (c) the leaky cauldron.
2. JK Rowling’s ‘A year in life’ documentary. Or better, download it here (iPod/iTunes only ;/ ). A pretty interesting take on her life pre and post HP, including the scene where she finished writing Deathly Hallows.
3. SnapeCast is pretty much the best Podcast ever, speaking only for myself here, but who will argue it *lol* Based on Pottercast, a podcast is
a pre-taped radio show that you listen to at your leisure - whether at your desk, in your car, in your music player on a jog - whatever you like. You can direct download, or subscribe to iTunes.
Personally, I found Snapecast a much interesting waste of my hours than Pottercast, LOL, which I often fastforward through (no offense), except that episode 1 and episode 2 that featured JK Rowling. Otherwise, put it this way, too much giggling is not really my thing.
Unlike Harry Potter books wherein we get the (often biased) descriptions of the life and snarky-ness of beloved Potion Master through Harry’s glasses -all puns intended-, SnapeCast discussed topics that revolve around Snape Universe in a much more neutral perspective. I use neutral loosely, since obviously they are all HUGE fans of Snape
4. … That the title Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince literally means ‘Harry Potter and Severus Snape’ has never before crossed my mind o.0
…
*grumbles* “That was four things. You said five.” Bugger, quoting Grey’s Anatomy again ~_~
5. … If I ever have a son, his first name has been pretty much confirmed. Severus. Okay, just kidding, not a piece of news, since I’ve decided it from book 6. I just forgot what was the fifth thing! Um, do you know that in the movie HP 7, aside from Ron-Hermione kiss, we’ll probably have the Harry-Hermione kiss too? Remember that scene?
Recent downloads:
- I am Legend audiobook.
- Harry Potter audiobooks. Read by Stephen Fry… I wanted Jim Dale’s :/
- Harry Potter e-books. With no viruses attached, yay! But, at second thought, maybe nothing’s wrong since my laptop already has a virus? :0
- Sweeney Todd OST (Johnny Depp, singing. Alan Rickman, singing. ‘Johanna’ and ‘Pretty Women’: Highly Recommended!!).
- Love Actually OST.
- some Jesse McCartney, Snow Patrol (!!), and the new Grey’s song: ‘Broken’ by Lifehouse.
