I am in the airport with my famz, and I am leaving in 30 minutes’ time. I feel a little sad of leaving college (who would have thought Nilai is miss~able).
I have many many regrets :[ Like, I have been reading ‘The old man and the sea’ since forever in the library. A chapter every visit ever since the last,,, I don’t know how many months. But the point is, I have not finished it! -___-
I will be known as the girl who can’t finish a Hemingway! *dies*
Okay I need to be going now. *Hugs* Updates later!

Wahahaha! Don’t worry, you’re not the only “The Old Man and the Sea” ignorant kiddie around here.:P I love to read, but when it comes to Ernest Hemingway, I become o_O.

WAHOOOOO Steffi’s alliiiiiivvvvveeee! nice, one. Where do you live now?
December 5th, 2007 at 3:20 am
Jakarta. But I’m in Bandung for a couple of days. They have really delicious strawberry juice :* much love from here!!!
December 5th, 2007 at 6:29 am
I see that’s nice. You really love strawberries huh? XD
Oh which reminds me Steftown. Recently I saw an Indonesian restaurant here. I was excited but at the same time quite hesitant to eat there cause I couldn’t understand anything on the menu. Although there were English descriptions on them, I might order something that I dislike. Basically, I hate dishes that have minty taste on them or anything that’s near the taste of Curry. So, anything that you can recommend to me before I eat there? Can you give out at least 3 common dishes that you have in restaurants there?
December 8th, 2007 at 7:57 am
Steffi!! *hugs*
Where is bandung? HEHE, are you there for a holiday? Oh, do you know about this drink called bandung? It’s rose syrup with carnation milk. The colour of the drink is pink!
December 10th, 2007 at 3:04 am
What kind of restaurant is it? I can really give good recommendation for seafood restaurant or Padang food. Anything fried is granted ok, fried gurameh (a kind of fish), fried chicken, kangkung (veggie), and if it’s seafood restaurant never forget to order the crab with special sauce. Oh you’re making me hungry! Btw I’m watching Asian Idol and I see one from Philipines! yay!
Bandung is…. a city 2 and a half hour drive from Jakarta
Yeah I know the drink, I had it once in KL, lol, of all places. But I found it too sweet for my taste! hugs back*
December 10th, 2007 at 3:07 am
Btw I’m waiting for the 15th when I can have internet connection again LOL. My mom doesn’t let me monopolize the telephone to get online ;_;
December 10th, 2007 at 8:41 am
Hey thanks! I’ll try the friend gurameh then and let you know if it’s good. XD
Oh btw, i just learned recently that Indonesian language is quite near with the Filipino language. After all, Indonesians were second of the first few people who inhabited our land (Negritos first, Indonesians second, Malaysians third). I say this because of the word “Kangkung” you’ve mentioned. It’s pronounced as “Kang kong” here in our country, a green vegetable that we stir fry with oyster sauce to make a dish out of it.
hooray for the asian idol! woohoo! XD
