for I’m here, I’m here! XD I’m not dead. Or get runover by a strolling dog. Here in Malaysia, dogs don’t get to stroll freely. The reasons I stopped blogging for a while was none other than… assignment -_- My last task was to present a small business proposal to raise capital from investors. In other words, con people into injecting us money for risky business we do not want to pay ourselves XD Well we chose to venture in confectionery industry, hence this tastilicious and designer cake shop!
This cake maker (haha rip-off from Ned, the Pie maker) is our company logo. I know, cheesy name for a shop (so not a rip off from Fergie). Wait til you see our motto. I PS-ed a picture of a chef we got online and voila!
Granted mucho cheesier!:D
And with the end of small b, I am already free. Yesh, no more assignments! No more class, no more anything … only exams =[
Plus I have happy news
So in the IHRM (Int’nal Human Resource Management) class, Mr Hamid was announcing our assignment results out loud. He had said that majority of the assignments were either generic, disappointment, or both. I recall that when I showed him mine on 8AM, he commented that it was not very critical and I went back to re-do and submitted on 5PM. Mind you, I had not had any slept the night before Dx Back to my story, after he read out a series of people getting ‘30′, ‘39′, ‘45′ (divide by 2 and that’s what you get out of 50%), me and my partner-in-crime, diLa had hoped for the worst … that he had lied when he previously told us that we were not the majority.
The alphabet order quickly reached ‘S’. At that moment, only one person got 70, which is an A, whilst the rest fall in 30-49 range (30 is borderline, 70 is usually the highest we are allowed to get o_o). I felt nauseous. Then it was my turn. I could not bear to look at him to save my life.
*drum rolls*
He said,
“Steffi… 72.”
The world, or probably it was my heart, skipped a beat. One other class mate later got 70. The list went on but I could not care less. Tbh, I would not even notice if anyone wanted to virtually stab me on the back. I was soooo happy at that moment I could just hug anyone. Birds were chirping and stars twinkling inside my head (figuratively speaking, lol). Yet I had enough sense not to do silly things like jumping up or dance! XD I had acted (as what I truly felt, might I add) sympathetic for other friends as well. But how I could maintain a poised posture and held back my silly grins for the rest of the day are still mysteries.
So, finally a tiny window of hope for first class honors has taken a pity on me and cracked open! Aww… I cross my fingers and fervently hope that magic works for Synoptic too n_nv
Pictures taken not by the camera owner, Sia. Farah took this shot, and that marked my second last class. See me?
Still can’t spot me? ;]
Yep, me on the far right (omg I have no sense of direction I almost typed left D: ). Formal clothes, worn by force not choice (had a presentation two hours prior). Forgive the blurness btw! Pic taken by the rightful owner of camera. Conclusion? Sia is not a good photographer. Mwahaha. Peace2.
Anyway, two more exams and I’m unofficially a fresh graduate. Sigh. I wonder why I am feeling a little sad about the thought of leaving college. Not that I will miss the monkeys, or the assignments, um yeah definitely NOT the assignments, though monkeys can be cute sometimes, when they are not stealing thumb drives from opened windows and such >:]
Ahem. As I was saying, I know I will so gonna miss the perks of being a student, I have even started to list out things.
-have to stop ticking ’student’ everytime I fill in forms.
-refer to ’student life’ in past tense. When I went to college… two hundred years ago. (Note to self) while not being too hyperbolical.
-become a part of the 2008 unemployment statistic of my country, with SBY (President of Indonesia) shaking his head in disappointment when he reveals it in front of the parliament. Not cool.
Most ex-tra-cruciatingly….
-can no longer use my student card to get 50% discount on cinemas!! zomg! o.0
*stabs self*
I almost volunteer to get Master degree only for the student status. Most 19 year-olds still have another two years in college. I am about to finish mine. I feel so. Old :/
On a brighter note, while I’m at it, I know I’m going to be the third or so people promoting this, but hey, they could always use a little advertising
Yep, Add me on Facebook!! I have met Tingal and Raein there- such a small Faceworld.
