Exactly.

I’m having a hard time deciding the user name for my blogspot account. Picking up name that really define your character is probably the hardest thing next to “what a guy should answer when his wife asks if she looks slim in the new party dress”.

Speaking of that, what should you say in that delicate situation?? It seems that men nowadays (or have it been since 1000BC? who knows since when women conquered Earth, lol) will smoothly lie that his wife looks great/ not an ounce of fat/ purreeety / doesn’t look like mother of three, for the horrendous fear of having their beer allowance slashed down (learnt the power of housewife from Crayon Shinchan’s household -.-”)

Well, most of the times we can’t really blame them as it seems that guys never have happy-ending options:

Answer A: You look very slim.
Responds in hurt voice: Lies. I know it cause when you lie your eyebrows twitch 0.0001 mm so you didn’t mean that/ I just gained 2 kilos/ my bum looks bigger than Keira Knightley!
Ends with the endless argument (at least on her side, even if the guy sometimes not listening) on the importance of honest relationship. Curable with romantic dinner and romantic everythings thou’ =)

Answer B: Well, you look, eh cute and curvy. (Curvy. OMG, wrong, wrong!!).
Getting thrown out of the flat and her life and her cosy couch you used to watch sunday Premier League on, forever.

Answer C: Um.. *wait to think of better answers than previous two*
Responds: Hah … I knew you think I look fat, admit it! You want to lie, I can see that because your eyebrow looks juuust about to twitch 0.0001 mm..
Bad move, man. *thrown out just the same*

See, even nice answers get the worst of results sometimes. The only one that surpasses all the abovementioned in the level of horridness is if the guy does not notice that the dress is brand new (LOL).

“Then”, says all the Desperate-Househusbands-in-the-Universe in unison, “What should we say?!?!?!?!”

To be honest, I have noo idea.

(Suggestion from a friend of mine who wishes to stay anonymous xD: “Maybe, don’t bother to think? Waste no second to say that she’s so slim and beautiful with a straight face.” Please, make sure about the straight face or else it’d just look like a blatant lie. Don’t blame me then!)

Unless if that happens to me. If it does, speaking just for myself here, I would say: please spare me from further embarrassment of wearing the most unflattering dress in the microscopic scrutiny of public and another hundreds of gorgeous ladies okay! What if Jerry Yan shows up in the party and he thinks I’m the waitress hence giving me his dirty plate and $10 tip? Even if he doesn’t, I mean, not give me dirty plates-I’ll keep the tip thanks (and I know just exactly who would want his dirty plate XD), I won’t be very pleased if during the party, my BFF grabbed me by the hair and told me to avoid the Fashion Police in patrol, otherwise got caught, would be fined $200!

Well my advice, husbands/boyfriends, talk in circles and rounds so that she won’t feel insulted, “Hun, you look gorgeous in anything but I love you in that black (read: not so tight one) dress- it just really brings out your eyes…” 666! sweet sugar-coated nothingness indeed, but relationship savior all the same, muahaha.

Okay, so that was the tip. What was my first topic again? Oh, yea, picking up names. Make a mental note to myself: just stick to the topic! Say the magic words: I can do it, I can do it, I can do it. =)

In all likelihood, I hardly ever possess the knack in choosing names. My usual user id comprises of my given name plus the name of the famous person in that certain forum that I joined. When I was 14 and a huge fan of Francesco Totti, basically I was Steffi Totti. Yeah I know, just one word: Duh. And if you’re attentive enough, darkntwisty itself is a blunt rip off from Grey’s Anatomy, which for once suits me perfectly because me is dark and twisty alright^^

Anywayss, here are ideas of names I am considering, some were actually other people’s inspirations for their site name, but oh well. Just borrowing =D

^ Flutterby. It just sounded beautiful. It’s an anagram of Butterfly and some stated that it was supposed to be the right word for ‘butterfly’. Somehow it seemed the most ancient dictionary wrote it wrongly, and then the name stuck n_n which explains why butter-fly? Flying butter? Flutter-by, cause it flutters by, makes sense. It’s also the album title of my favorite singer (band?) Butterfly Boucher. They have such pretty songs that you heard on and on in Grey’s Anatomy. Try: Life is Short, A Bitter Song, Never Leave Your Heart Alone.

^ Tough Rouge. Lovable but it’d be lying if I say I am tough xD
