Well technically it won’t be until 31st of August, but the fireworks showing, Colours of Malaysia 2007, has been on since last week.

I was THISclose to viewing it last friday. I missed the event, sadly, because that same day my friends (supposedly me too) were going to Putrajaya to watch it, I was in terminal stage of craving for chocolate cake from the weekly night market in Nilai. T_T

*sobs*

Tell you what, I just proved that choosing between the tempting strawberries or magnificent fireworks, can deeply torn people (or your stomach in this case) apart.

It goes something like this:
Yay to cake!! =DD
No, no, better watch the fireworks. Save money also. Y_Y;;
hey, cake is much more delicious.. and can cure your crankiness too! (:
But!, says my not so hungry alter ego, It will be so fun just to hang out with friends.
Ah you mean the taking photos part… ~_^!
well that too…
you know the antidote to your problem? Whipped cream. Loads of it!
Well, when is the last time you have that much fun, last year?!

The lost cause battle of the mind resumed on and on for a few good hours.

If it was a bad decision or a stomach-friendly one I do not know, but finally I reckoned that satisfying my taste buds with chocolate chip layered cake with strawberries was marginally better than 5 minutes viewing of something you can’t eat, not to mention the crowds and sleepover afterwards that was bound to happen -_-” I went to the night market alone (as every living soul I know was heading to Putrajaya) and spent the night fattening myself while watching Jigoku Shoujo. I at least gained two kilos just on both cheeks!! O_O

Worth it though :]
