Yesterday I went to watch Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix with my mom and li’l bro. I had totally forgotten about the premiere, which is why it is good to have Potter-Freak friends on the net ;] Anyway, as I have yet to touch my exam materials and am living in fancy hotel with great seafood, theoritically I am still on some sort of holiday XD

my favorite Weasley’s
Anyhow, it was great - the best Harry Potter movie to date, for previously the rest were just some dissapointing and uncomplete clips. I j’adore the first-parter! However, the ending seemed rushed and, well, it cut off the very part of the story - book 5 has always been my favorite mainly because of *spoiler alert* Sirius’s tragic death (I heart Sirius) and how Harry could not accept it ~ the heart-wrenching last few pages. It is fair to say that the movie was no way equally as sad as the book. On the brighter side, you won’t need any tissue box to watch this movie

*heart* Daniel Radcliffe
HP & TOOTP has a quite different feel from the book. There are huge improvements on how they pay alot more attention to details, tho’ as usual, handful of good stuffs are missing. Nevermind my usual rants
It was still a stunning watch, really. The superb effect and CGI, good actings and Umbridge’s potrayal was eww,, scary! And this quote is hilarious: ‘I disagree with Dumbledore on many counts ..but you cannot deny he’s got style.’ LOL XD

Oh I want to see it soon!
July 13th, 2007 at 3:05 am
I’m watching over the weekend!^_^ So excited!
Wait, it’s not as sad as the book? I bawled my eyes out when Sirius died!
July 13th, 2007 at 6:39 am
Luty, you’ve got to watch it!^v^
iheartbadtz, it was hilarious and dark at the same time, but I did not get the sad feeling. Maybe I hoped for too teary and dramatic scene? XDD
July 15th, 2007 at 12:45 am
Hmm, I think you were at your saddest when you read the book? SO you kind of expected it when you were watching the movie.
July 16th, 2007 at 12:49 pm
The only thing I liked there was the kissing scene! XD Sorry. But I loved the first movie the best XD It was the most memorable for me. It was the one that closely followed the book
July 16th, 2007 at 2:32 pm
Tingal that is so true. I have big expectation and the ending was not too spectacular (if not disappointing)
Raein, I hated the kissing scene XD The first movie, hm I have even forgotten about that. HP 5 does not follow the book, esp the ending, too many things were unexplained, I forgot to add that Dumbledore and Hagrid were like cameo! But it was still a decent watch. I heart the fighting part. It was cooler than my imagination
I think I will wait till HP 6 and Dumbledore dies *evil grin* I hope it will be sadder >D
July 17th, 2007 at 9:05 pm
What? HP 6? There is a HP 6? Oh dear, my poor Harry is going to get so Hairy by then. Sorry, off topic. But I thought this is the last HP??!!
July 18th, 2007 at 3:53 am
Just watched it!^_^ Convinced my mum to watch it with me, even if she hates fantasy stuff. Heeheehee!
I’m kinda disappointed with it.:( They’ve changed a lot of details from the book. It would have been ok, except that they changed the meaning behind the stuff that happened as well. I was shocked that they made Bellatrix use “Avada Kedavra” on Sirius. That’s just wrong.:(
July 18th, 2007 at 1:00 pm
iheartbadtz, my mom kind of fell asleep during the movie, so I cannot say much about your mom
I heard that they changed the details because it is just 2hours plus. Unlike book 1 which is shorter, they said all the details cannot be possibly be included. I heart Sirius but now you see that the scene was just plain, and the slow motion did not help. Ah well, all of HP movies were always disappointing anyway, but I think this is the best XD
July 19th, 2007 at 3:04 am
Haha! She didn’t talk the entire time we were watching. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.:P I’m hoping JK brings Sirius back on Book 7! She gave hints about it, and I hope she’s not just faking it. Heehee! Sorry, I’m a Sirius fangirl.^_^
July 19th, 2007 at 6:38 am
Oh no!
Now I have to share my Sirius with you!
Yeah, I am with you in that, really hope he is back!!! XDD
I really can’t wait for the book, it’s like 2 more day to go! :3
July 20th, 2007 at 1:38 am
Heehee! Yaay, another Sirius fangirl!^_^ I hope he’s back too! My guess in Book 6 that Dumbledore would die came out true, would my guesses for this book happen too?:O
July 20th, 2007 at 9:50 am
and it’s like.. less than one day to go.. arghhh.. I don’t know how book store owners are not tempted to read it now :3
July 21st, 2007 at 4:24 pm
This is exactly what I expected to find out after reading the title Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Thanks for informative article
July 23rd, 2007 at 3:48 am
Heehee! Who knows? Maybe they get dibs on the books themselves!^_^ Aack. I’ll only be able to get the book tomorrow. Sniff.
July 23rd, 2007 at 11:27 am
XD that is so true haha. Happy reading with the book, badtz. I am staying away from Internet now (especially Yahoo), I do not want to encounter any spoilers :3
July 25th, 2007 at 8:15 am
ACK! I wasn’t able to get it yesterday.:( *tear*tear* Hopefully I’ll get it by the end of the day.
Yeah, spoilers=bad.:P
July 30th, 2007 at 2:11 pm
Badtz! I broke my own promise and slipped. I have read almost two third of the book XD I cannot stand myself. lol. So now I am reading it slowly haha. I just cannot help because of all the mysteries are killing me
August 1st, 2007 at 4:14 am
Oh noez! I’m done with the book! Now I’m reading the rest in reverse order.XD I’m almost at the middle of Half-Blood Prince.^_^
August 1st, 2007 at 4:47 am
ow badtz,, I too, am done with the book! alas, curiosity got the better of me XDD
August 3rd, 2007 at 1:58 am
Heehee! Well, at least you won’t be bothered with the “What’s going to happen next?:O” thoughts anymore.^_^ How didja find it?:P
August 3rd, 2007 at 10:06 am
*not spoiler free*
It was really stunning as soon as things are being unraveled. however, as much as I love all the happy endings and the albus SEVERUS part
n the Malfoys, I feel the journey to reach the point was abit overstretched. the thing I strongly dislike was Harry-Hermione-Ron setting up tents, wearing that hocrux and mushroom eating part. Anyway, I think it could not have been better, but I hoped for longer epilogue and want more things answered. but I guess we have to wait for the HP encyclopedia to get that.. what do u think about it??
=D you’re right, badtz. well, i personally heart when the truth about Snape was revealed, his love with Lily (i had guessed that XD), I practically bawled all over when he died
August 3rd, 2007 at 8:26 pm
I have to say, that I could not agree with you in 100% regarding Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, but it’s just my opinion, which could be wrong
August 4th, 2007 at 2:31 pm
Nevermind, Daniel. Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, so neither is right nor wrong
August 9th, 2007 at 7:25 am
I agree with you a 110% ^_^ I’ve got tons of questions that haven’t been answered too!
Some of them are:
What happened to George?
Who did Draco marry? (hope it’s not Pansy!) What happened to him and his parents?
What happened to the Dursleys?
Are Harry and Ginny living in Grimmauld Place? Is Kreacher with them?
Does that mean Harry, Hermione, and Ron went back to school after Voldemort dies? I mean, they couldn’t get the jobs if they didn’t finish schooling, right?o_O
Funny, J.K. said on the 7th book that it was Ron and Harry who met Grawp, but it was Harry and Hermione who did.:P
August 13th, 2007 at 10:18 pm
I couldn’t understand some parts of this article Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.
August 26th, 2007 at 1:49 pm
whoa, my comment section was so badly spammed that I didn’t spot your reply badtz!

JK said that she might do a HP encyclopedia to reveal those burning questions! =D The first final drafts she revealed alot about the epilogue, but decided to leave some unanswered, and change some things.
If I’m not mistaken, at the first draft she said the last word on book 7 was ’scar’, but changed it to ‘all was well’ so it was not ambiguous whether Harry really won or not. I hope Draco married Luna, or at least Neville, but I dun think JK will pair either of them o x o
And I guess it’s safe to say that Harry-Ginny live in Grimmauld Place with Kreacher as the house Chef, but they seriously got
