Panic in nakayoshi land/world:

review: This is one out of three games, featuring other characters from Nakayoshi magazine along with Sailormoon characters.
The four girls: Kurumi (from Kurumi to 7 Ninnokobitotachi), Nagisa (from Chou Kuseni Narisou), Sailormoon (does not need an introduction) and Wapiko (from Kingyo Chouuihou) have volunteered to help the Blue-Haired Princess of Nakayoshi World to drive the wicked King Daima and his monsters out of Nakayoshi World. The story mode is divided into 5 stages, with 6 rounds in each stage. The first 4 rounds of each stage are puzzle rounds; the 5th is a bonus round and the 6th is a boss fight. The heroines’ objective is to help the princess and their friends by fighting off the monsters that threaten them in each of the places where they are hiding.

my review: another japanese cute snes rpg this one has some random sailor moon characters thrown in as well as other characters; it’s a really great game for time wasting and after a while i quickly found it to be more challenging; i liked it though - 4/5

why you wouldn’t like it: it’s only available as a rom and it’s not in english and the patch for it in english is pretty hard to install.

she and her cat ova:

my review: this is a beautiful ova that is only 5 minutes long even though it’s so short it pilots its message well this cat loves the girl, you can’t really do anything with the characters i mean they’re introduced but no development happens which what you would expect. This was the reason you picked up voices of a distant star.

why you wouldn’t like this: some people have said it needs to be longer i think that’s the main problem I can’t understand why anyone wouldn’t like this though

plot: Catz is a pet simulation game that lets owners name, train and play with adorable kittens. Players adopt a customized kitten and will earn their kitten’s love and loyalty by remembering to feed, groom or play with it.

my review: The sad thing is when you compare it to the PF magic games back in the day you figure out Ubisoft didn’t really do anything special except dumb it down and sell it to a market that would be interested.. What’s the point of this besides training the cat and dressing it up you know how a pet actually beats a virtual game in this one it’s true guess I’m too old to be playing this. I also wish there were more breeds and customizing options - 1/5

why you would like it:  once you get out of comparing it to another game it’s actually a very nice game for people to play if you’re a cat lover you’ll fall in love with it; the graphics were amazing and it’s only 20 dollars in stores. You get hours of gameplay with it as well.

final fantasy 7: advent chilren: animation - 10, characters - 10, plot - 10, enjoyment - 10:

PG (mild bad language and bloodless violence)

plot: Two years after the end of Final Fantasy VII the world is starting to get back on it’s feet and is working towards a new future. However, there is a new threat from a new illness called Geo-stigma, and three men that seem to be seeking Jenova. Cloud and his friends from the orginal game must once again reunite to combat the new threat.

my review: OMG final fantasy 7 have my babies now all of them! This is an epic movie and if you’re a final fantasy 7 fan don’t miss it.

why you wouldn’t like it: I’d suggest you go play final fantasy 7 because this movie is meaningless if you haven’t played the game

sims 2 nightlife:

<br>plot: The Sims 2: Nightlife is the second expansion pack for The Sims 2, which was released on September 13, 2005 (USA and Canada) and September 16, 2005 (European Union, Australia and New Zealand). It was released for Mac OS X on March 27, 2006. The expansion pack centers on the new downtown area, which has various activities, such as bowling, karaoke, dining and dancing, as well as a photo booth, and includes a dating mini-game which allows player to engage in their Sim’s relationships in greater depth.

<br>my review: i am a fan of this game i think without it the sims 2 would have pretty much stunk; you can go to places that you normally couldn’t go and you can meet new people as well as vampires - 5/5

<br>why you wouldn’t like this: well sims 2 still has the sluggish performance issues and if you didn’t like the main game or appreciate it then you probably won’t like this

<br> plot: Ran is a bright and energetic first-grader in junior high school who possesses supernatual abilities. Together with Midori (her friend who also has supernatural powers) and Rui, the threesome are constantly embroiled in mysterious circumstances. Ran is troubled by her powers because it seems to spark off the ill intentions of people in contact with her. However, with the support of her family and peers, Ran learns to deal with her ‘other’ side and accepts who she is. The threesome also learn how to team up as a whole and solve these mysterious events

<br>my review: nothing really pulls me in i don’t understand why but i find the animation to be kind of bad even for it’s time; i also find the main character’s voice to be a drill

katamari damacy:

PG: (some of the beginning conversations are interesting to say the least therefore I say ask your parents before you play it)

plot: Katamari Damacy (塊魂, Katamari Damashii?, lit. “Clump Spirit”) is a third-person puzzle-action video game that is published and developed by Namco for the PlayStation 2 video game console. It was first released in Japan, and then later in South Korea and North America. The game resulted from a school project from the Namco Digital Hollywood Game Laboratory, and was developed for less than $1 million. In designing Katamari Damacy, the development team aimed to maintain four key points: novelty, ease of understanding, enjoyment, and humor.

my review: i love katamari despite the challenges in the game you’ll see it’s worth it in the end; it’s unique and original and any anime fan will appreciate the zaniness - 5/5

why you wouldn’t like it: supposedly the environments feel pretty mundane; it can also seem pretty repetitive and doesn’t get out of that at all also this may be too crazy for you to take

dragonball evolution: live action -

my review: Before you say you watched this why? I watched it for the same reason any fan of dragonball did to see what happened.  I don’t reconmend anyone to attempt to watch the movie until you watched the series because this won’t help you get into it.. One thing to note that they did right is that they really worked on the martial arts.  It’s modernized big time which is ultimately its downfall; compared to the series you’ll think train wreck because it kind of is and if you’re going to take a name.. Isn’t the point to follow the series as loyally as possible?; the characters aren’t all bad I mean chichi’s actually good looking and she is indeed Asian. Bulma’s def not Asian however the actress who plays her is indeed Asian and she has weird highlights to disguise her hair and Yamacha’s kept as well as they could. Is this worth 2 sequels? No and since it was a bust in the box office it’s not likely they’ll do even a sequel.

why you would like it: if you want an action movie then skip the fact that dragonball is in the title because it’s an okay action movie but that’s it.
