keitai shoujo: animation - 4, plot - 5, characters - 4, enjoyment - 5 - 4 -

There are some objective scenes I’d say from the screenshots in all; Teens 13 and up is probably the right age for it since it is a harem

plot:  Each episode features a different girl, doing different things in their normal days. The only similarities between the episodes is that every girl uses their mobile phones and that Hiro is always around and sees the girls.

my review: is a tame harem type anime; here is the problem every episode is only 7 minutes long meaning no character development whatsoever except for the episodes themselves..It just doesn’t add up and I guess i really wanted to see if i would actually enjoy it which this is a no by the 1st four episodes I was bored to tears

plot: is a series of farm simulation/role-playing video games produced by Victor Interactive Software (acquired by Marvelous Entertainment in 2003) and was originally created by Yasuhiro Wada in 1996. English translation and distribution of the game is done by Natsume (and Rising Star Games in Europe). The object of the game is to maintain a farm over a period of time, tending the crops and livestock through the seasons, while befriending the nearby townsfolk and getting married in some games. The first game was Harvest Moon, released for the SNES in 1996. Games in the series have also been produced for Game Boy and GBA, Nintendo 64, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, GameCube and Nintendo DS; with new titles for PSP, Nintendo DS, and Virtual Console for the Wii. Natsume released Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility on September 30, 2008 for the Nintendo Wii in celebration of the series’ 10th anniversary

my review: Honestly this is not my type of game..Somebody should teach me how to farm XD I don’t get this game the fact that I do farm and then my crops disappear is kind of weird to me..What’s even weirder is the fact that I can acquire a wife. After playing the 1st 20 minutes I knew I wouldn’t be satisfied with this..a 5

I lost the other survey because i deleted the post entirely, so i  am making up for it now with a review for the 28th and 29th.

hatenkou yugi (teens 13 and up: there was one episode that made me raise the age a bit): animation - 8, characters - 7, story - 7, enjoyment - 9; 7

plot:  A young girl named Rahzel is booted out of her house one day by her father with the instructions to ’see the world.’ And so her journey begins, However, she won’t be doing it alone … for she befriends a stoic young man named Alzeido seeking revenge for his father’s murder. Alzeido and Rahzel are like oil and water … but even still, they feel strangely drawn to one another. This could be either the result of an underlying attraction — or their shared powers with magic. And so, the two reluctant allies travel from town to town, using their powers to help the helpless, while discovering their own respective places in the world.

Plot: by the 1st episode I was intrigued which usually happens when i get into something; the characters are pretty cliche for the most part but have depth to them; Heat seems to remind me a lot of Gene from outlaw star he’s definitly one of those characters i cling to just like Razhel who reminds me that girls can kick butt too; this is considered to be a shoujo anime and the opening theme gets kind of catchy after you watch all the episodes also i must add not for the faint of heart. The bad part is i feel like 10 episodes is not memorable for a series and reconmend the manga just because i heard it was better before watching the anime. Also by the last few episodes I felt like the anime had really run its course and went slower

So I was  suppose to go to universal with my boyfriend as sort of the spur of the moment type deal we have free tickets to go realizing that we would have to spend a whole crap load of money made my boyfriend a bit nervous about the trip. This went on from tuesday night until ultimately thursday

Needless to say I was a bit peeved that I got my hopes up for nothing I mean honestly we wouldn’t have spent that much; (what does he expect? Me to want to eat in the park? I think it’ll be more like him eating in the park. And I would have made sure the souveneir would have been less than 20 dollars)

so as payback we went to target oh yes I was gonna go and buy ->  <- bunny domo <- which was 8 dollars I later came to find out honestly I’m not too much of a fan of domo so this was just scratched off automatically

so I went with my boyfriend to his work and luckily there is a target right in walking distance

<- i found that in a bunch of messed up easter baskets I didn’t want it

- found those shirts and to be honest I don’t like keroppi but i do like the black peace sign one

- I opted to get the plush with the body spray which was 5 dollars or so; it doesn’t matter the plush is really cute and the body sprays smell like the flavors.

Someone should tell me what the bath confetti does because I was opted to get it too but decided against it.

this is what we call rant, I usually always have one for some reason or another.

This one is about a certain easter basket sold at CVS for 20 dollars. At first I was thrilled to hear about it because 1. it’s hello kitty, 2. there’s a stuffed toy.

carrying this basket with me all through the store I realized how light it was..That should have been an indication not to get it. However I thought I should, the stuffed toy is probably the only reason one would pay 20 dollars because it’s cute and comes in 3 different types but they’re all hello kitty.

It’s easier to go to Target to find this stuff mainly because they have the hello kitty plush easter baskets which are only 10 dollars and then a lot of other hello kitty merchandise because every holiday Target has hello kitty stuff.

<- this is actually what the baskets look like at target compared to CVS this is a jackpot really. It’s actually also 3 dollars less than at CVS.

so here is my complaints

1. the baskets I thought were cheaply made wrapped with so much tape that it probably takes a brain surgeon a lot of time to open the dang things

2. there are only 4 pieces of candy in there it’d be great if they were chocolate but these are healthy pieces of candy and they’re small packages

3. the bottom of the basket was stuffed to make it look larger there was nothing at the bottom no surprises just a bunch of wrapped paper.

4. the activity book came with about 10 pages worth of stuff to do i mean yes I find the back cute because hello kitty is a bunny but jeez all it is really is coloring (the good news is it came with markers)

5. i know it’s target is for kids but that’s not the point; there are people like me who like hello kitty ><’.

I’m not sure what the other baskets consist of; but just a warning don’t go to CVS this easter and expect hello kitty goodies because you’ll be disappointed.

I want to go to target a day after easter and scroll down the aisles getting things XD.

but did it need a movie like this? I didn’t think so

plot summary: A long time ago, a winged maiden was held prisoner in a castle - cursed never to experience love, lest she die. Centuries later, in a sleepy coastal town, a young girl relives this agony.

my review:   a retelling of the series pretty much i’d reconmend it if you’ve seen air first this touches more on the romance that was lost in the anime series. I didn’t like Misuzu’s change there was nothing really wrong with her and this one just sees more perky, it’s kind of a bother and i don’t like the way ryuuha looks, yukito is kind of emo and not in a good way. The animation is fresh but it doesn’t give the same feeling as the tv series; i really didn’t like it and it also seems like it drones on at some parts.

Air tv is one of them; I thought i had prepared myself but by the end i did cry; i can’t even finish the manga to this day because i think it’ll be so heartbreaking

(this is going to have a PG rating to be honest i can’t see anything that offensive besides swearing)

plot:  Yukito Kunisaki is on a journey, seeking a girl with wings who flies in the sky, as mentioned in a childhood tale. During this journey, he settles down in a small town, trying to make some money. There, he meets a strange girl named Misuzu. Misuzu quickly makes Yukito her friend and invites him to stay with her. Yukito decides to stay in the small town, and continue searching for the winged girl his mother had searched for in her life.

my review:   my first impression of it was oh it’s gonna make me cry, Misuzu is cute you can’t help but fall in love with her but I am against dramas of any kind and I know is some kind of drama; it’s also slow to me it didn’t reach breaking point till episode 3 and even then it was a struggle to keep watching it, I must admit i did cry it’s hard not to. I don’t really feel anything for the other characters i mean i cry when bad things happen but it’s hard to fall in love with the characters mainly because you’ll only get to know them a short time..If you’re looking for a complex story it doesn’t get any more complex than this. Bishoujo fans will love this no doubt about it.

I’ve always heard about other final fantasies but there isn’t enough about 9. Back in the PS 1 days the final fantasy games actually had some heart mixed in as well as a beautiful and addicting storyline as well as a character you could latch onto (in this game I loved Garnet)

(by the way the rating is for teens; I don’t know why to be honest I really don’t see anything offensive in the game except for a few things and Eiko’s costume)

Plot:  Set in the fantasy world of Gaia, Final Fantasy IX‘s plot centers on a war between several nations, sparked by an ambitious queen named Brahne. Players follow a young thief named Zidane Tribal, who joins with several others to defeat the Queen. The plot shifts, however, when the characters realize that Brahne is a puppet for an arms dealer called Kuja.

my review: My parents actually got me 9 because I loved 7 on Christmas; I played it all the way through to almost beating Kuja on lvl 72 or so. I never ever beat him because my brothers wanted to play and I got sick of playing it.

ff9’s replay value is really low compared to other ff games; I mean the mini games are either annoying or fun depending on how sick you are in the head.  This is not a game you want to play again unless you have the patience.

it’s not a bad game by any means but compared to the unstoppable 7 or depending on your tastes 8 this game falls flat. I’d reconmend it to anyone who’s willing to play it though; give it a chance and you won’t be disappointed - 9/10
