Gaia made the mmorpg ZOMG finally; after it had been in works for how many years? I mean I had heard this rumor like everyone else in 2006 or so.

Depending on the languages used in the game; it gets about the same rating as Gaia itself would: teens (13 and up).

This idea would have worked when Gaia didn’t have a fanbase; I say this because the state of Gaia in the forums is really really bad. I mean you can’t go to another forum without someone asking which is better? You can’t control the members and giving them a more freedom oriented environment isn’t the answer

So what’s going on in the world of Gaia?

In a nutshell, things that used to not be alive (inanimate objects like alarm clocks and boat anchors) are coming to life. Gaians have started calling these newly-alive creatures “the Animated”. The worst part is that the Animated seem to really dislike the “naturals” in the world and that means that they generally attack Gaians on sight.

Theories are rampant about what caused the Animation and what can be done to stop it. Currently, the main towns of Gaia are cut off from each other, each dealing with their own emergencies in their own way. Investigations are constant as everyone tries to find out more about what’s going on, but the Animated are aggressive and disruptive, and most citizens are busy defending themselves and trying to keep some semblance of normality in their lives.

Perhaps you’ll be the one to find out what’s happening and how it can be stopped. It’s certain that all of Gaia would be thankful if you could do so. As the zOMG! world continues to grow, so will the plotlines, each new story arc building on the others to evolve the world of Gaia far beyond where it stands now…and you get to be an active part of that evolution as you explore the world and aid its citizens.

Now here’s my review:  Are you kiddening me? There is no way in heck I want to play with a bunch of immature players from here; 1. it reminds me of the GD all over again and how I was shunned from that place. 2. The game isn’t very playable at least to me and i know it’s only on beta stages but it’s horribly buggy like certain quests you just aren’t able to do; possibly the only good thing about it is playing it alone and getting rings that have some cool powers. - 4

I’ve fallen way behind on anime reviews; mainly because I needed to take a break from anime and just play video games for a while. I still watch anime  but now I’m focused on one series instead of many besides the fact that I haven’t been to a convention in a while I rely a lot on my anidb list and me randomly picking titles (not that I won’t take reconmendations for anything).

I’ve also been watching more adult-related anime which I won’t post reviews on here ever if anime news network clearly says is too mature to post about. I consider this more of a safe zone area compared to other places where i would post reviews.

pretear: animation - 8, story - 5, characters - 8, enjoyment -5 - 5

Age group: for teens (13+ up)

plot:  Himeno Awayuki was a normal sixteen-year old girl until her father married a woman who happens to be rich. Since then, she has been perceived as an outcast by both her new stepsisters and her classmates. Later Himeno finds out from seven men called the Leafe Knights that she is something called Pretear, a girl who has the power to merge with and control the nature of the elemental-oriented powers from the Leafe Knights and stop an evil being called the Princess of Disaster.

my review: Let’s get one thing straight i didn’t like the manga i often found it too shoujo for my tastes; i stopped at the end of vol 1, sasame’s pretty hot though i must admit but i am not a fan of himeno as I think she’s seriously spoiled and needs an attitude change. But she does look a little like sakura from card captor sakura. Pretty much for me this is an average shoujo anime that by episode 5 i wanted to quit; the costumes were nice and the transformation sequences were okay. There’s also 13 episodes which if you want to venture you’re welcome to; but I’d only reconmend it if you like shoujo.

I usually don’t watch them but there’s a movie i wanna see win best picture milk; it’s a true story of the first gay governor of California; the sad part is I don’t see it winning because it’s pretty controversal..

Naturally the one that’ll win the big award of the night is probably gonna be the ultimate rags to riches story slumdog millionaire; I’d be glad if Milk could win at least one award during the oscars.

this is my own personal thoughts and feelings about the game

1. I spent a few hours the night of trying to get hello kitty online to work again; the GM’s answer in my guild’s thread didn’t even help..So here i felt like I was the only one not playing the game; I’ve experienced this guilt before. But even when the hotfix was uploaded there was an error to go with it. I am one to hold this in for a long period of time

2. I hate talking to people in game really especially if it’s about something bad; the fact that people hovered over my materials last night once again trying to steal them was really really annoying. I had stopped picking cotton because I figured I’d pick enough and I also said some things over there that I didn’t mean.

Last night I was at the sorosis trees too and they were pretty much bare..But another user from another guild had her eye on the same tree and sat there while i was trying to gather things the honest way and take them so the tree would be in use. How many people do I need to say hey this is rude to before they actually notice that I’m there? Not only that but people actually tried to entice the things around me so they’d distract me.

3. I don’t like the whole asking new people for their stuff type of thing; I just don’t like talking to new players; my experience with this one came from a few days ago when I did go to the harbor when asked and asked the two members who were there if they needed any help because I was ready to offer it; not only was I ignored but I wasn’t even noticed until I actually left.

4. I hate the little events; because there is always the element of cheating involved; i hate chasing around a GM for an item, trivia, whatever it may be. I’m fine when it’s for charity but when it’s a simple mini game it lags my computer.

5. I went to the item mall bought stuff like the heart wand; figured oh it would work; it’s been bugged since the 1st day. So my whole storage inventory is filled with these blue ? marks. Apparently a GM came on once and said the thing was bugged but the funny thing is I didn’t hear about this and some other people did. The lack of communication in the game is bad enough but the fact that the announcement was never made again is sort of a downside to the game.

6. This is what irrks me with so many problems in the game bringing in the public is not what the game needs; it needs to be fixed because this is not the same game i played during closed beta.

7. The guild drama; this always happens on an event and I really wish it would stop because it’s a game..I’m guilty of this truth be told

8. waiting for the game to open during holidays and such; you have no idea how much this bugs me because this is only a step further from open beta.

9. I hate the prizes thing; you have no idea how much this destroys my computer and the fact that it keeps getting offered as some kind of motivation twists my head.

10. the farm system; let me get this straight i have to collect oh about 30 k to get a farm level to grow things that I need to do for an event? I’ve never gathered that much in the game at all; the fact that you’re asking this to grow certain crops is pretty ridiculous.

I already said I had some issues with this game on the forums but now I’m making it really really clear; I’m not looking forward to open beta unless stuff is fixed

I already told a lot of people about this; the only reason why I log in anymore is to help my guild who still feels like the same guild as before to me. I would gather day and night materials if they wanted me to.

I’m afraid if I do quit playing that I’ll have to quit the guild as well which I don’t want to do but I also don’t want to play the game anymore because it’s not fun.

hyakko: animation - 7, story - 4, characters 4, enjoyment - 4 - 5

plot: On the first day of high school at Kamizono Academy, four girls meet each other while lost on the huge campus, and form a friendship. This story follows the daily school life of the four girls and their eclectic classmates.

my review: blond girl doesn’t know her way around that makes me laugh because it’s stereotypical and the purple haired girl is graceful and mature like every anime oh boy, the two girls are ninjas i think! Eh this is one of those iffy anime that after seeing 1 episode didn’t pull me in, this series brings nothing new to the table sadly enough i’ve seen too many like these

If you could have any job in the world, what would it be? - This was a question from Feburary 12th; I keep forgetting to do it so I’ll do it here.

I’d actually want to be an astronomer if i was actually good at Math..I’ve always been fascinated with the planets and stars and such.

Valentine’s day love it or hate it? Was a question from livejournal’s question of the day writer block thing

My honest thoughts I used to hate valentine’s day I guess everyone gets that stage where they’re like this is such an useless holiday; the greeting card companies made this holiday for whatever..

every holiday is filled with the kind of “Hey let’s make a fast way to make money off of this thing.”

So why is valentine’s day so hated? Because people are single? (s.a.d for the win) Even if I was single I wouldn’t feel hatred towards a day about it. I think Valentine’s day is a day to see cute things and if you don’t like that then don’t go into a store; it’s pretty easy.

Don’t also wait for this day to do something special for your lover or for yourself.

I’ll admit it when I was a kid i felt the same way; I hated valentine’s day; I’d dread the holiday but I wouldn’t go do anything to celebrate it unless I was in school.

I love this day though; I love cute things; I love the colors..

my review: this is an interesting piece of work i must say but i was utterly confused when it first began and had to research it, also a lot of characters aren’t even described in detail just a few are described

that website will show you all of the watches my friend got me the purple and pink one but she’s holding it hostage till i come down again (I really like that one and in case you couldn’t tell it looks more gothic eske then the other ones.)

now i need to go to mcdonalds twice and hope I don’t get stuck with the same watches because I have to give them to my friend and my sister

also to note as of feb 17th: I am giving a new watch to Amy it’s the little twin stars watch and I’m sure she’ll like it more since it’s kind of her sign in astrology, also bought the my melody watch on ebay and hope to see it either friday, saturday or sunday.
