plot:  The year is 2356 A.D. - 189 years after a distant supernova caused a global catastrophe that wiped out 99% of the world population. To keep track on all space activities, mankind has built colossal space stations called “foundations” all over the Solar System. After passing the Space Academy entrance exams, Shima Katase embarks to the Earth-based foundation Stellvia to fulfill her dream of seeing the galaxy and to prevent another interstellar catastrophe from destroying Earth.

my review: the middle of stellvia is hard and therefore it’s not an easy series to conquer; it’s also 26 episodes long to boot so that means if you do get past the middle and still into it then it’s worth watching. I just wasn’t going to stick around for it to end despite the fact that i loved the animation and the characters to death

the girl who leapt through time - animation - 10, plot - 10, characters - 10, enjoyment - 10

plot:  When 17-year-old Makoto Konno gains the ability to, quite literally, “leap” backwards through time, she immediately sets about improving her grades and preventing personal mishaps. However, she soon realises that changing the past isn’t as simple as it seems, and eventually, will have to rely on her new powers to shape the future of herself and her friends.

my review: this is a classic anime movie; i think everyone should watch it and i’d reconmend it even though it’s kind of shoujoish.

I downloaded super puzzle fighter 2 turbo though i already beat it on normal and easy mode; i just want to unlock everything i can in the game

As noted above, all of the playable characters in Puzzle Fighter (with one exception) are borrowed from Capcom’s two major fighting game series, Street Fighter and Darkstalkers. The super deformed take on these characters gave the game a unique, light-hearted feel that served as a deserved break from the rough and edgy fighting games that were prevalent at the time of Puzzle Fighter’s initial release. A fighting game using these character sprites called Pocket Fighter was released in 1997.

During the game, super deformed versions of various characters from Capcom’s two main fighting game series (Street Fighter and Darkstalkers), will act out a comical battle based on how the game is going. Every time one player sends Counter Gems to his or her opponent, his or her character will perform a typical fighting-game action, anything from a taunt to a special move. The more Counter Gems the player sends over, the “bigger” the move the character will perform. These animations, however, are purely cosmetic and have no actual bearing on the gameplay(other than to indicate the magnitude of the counters).

The game continues until one player’s field reaches the top of its fourth column (which is where all new gems first appear). That player is the loser.

(I play as the girls by the way I’m not very good with the boys apparently this has more of an anime fanbase since I see this game at every convention and no one knows anything about it because it’s not very big; still a good game if you have time on your hands just gets annoying after a while)

also something to note: I’ve beaten the game on normal and easy mode and while i’m not looking to beat it on hard I want to unlock everything i can including the hidden characters..But my favorite characters are naturally the girls Morrigan, Felicia, Sakura, Chun-li and Devilot as well as Dan and Akuma.

Probably the worst character and the one I hate playing as is Ken

i got into a rear end accident yesterday;  tyler and i were pulling into an intersection when we had to stop and tyler had thought this taxi was going to make a turn since it’s turn signal was on but instead it just kept going on ahead. So tyler had to back up what makes it even better was this guy was coming up behind us and had no idea we were in front and just kept going hit us at maybe 10 mph his car got more damage than ours did

Luckily we were both wearing our seatbelts so there’s no real injuries that happened. So I have a strain in my neck I am dealing with at the moment from it; if i wasn’t wearing my seatbelt I’d honestly be more injuried than I am.

So here’s the question that was asked on livejournal yesterday:

Are you really okay? <- If anyone had the heart to actually ask me that they’d realize what kind of life i had been having for a while. The fact is when I was younger I did need this question asked; now as I am older it’s fine.

tenchi gxp - animation - 6, characters - 6, plot - 6, enjoyment - 6 - 6

Tenchi Muyo! GXP: Galaxy Police Transporter, released in Japan in 2002, goes back to the original Tenchi Muyo! OVA timeline. However this time the main character of this 26-episode TV series is Seina Yamada, a spin off of Tenchi Masaki who is forced by his family to join the Galaxy Police.

My review: GXP is at a best an average anime; it brings nothing new to the table..But let’s be honest here it’s pretty much the same as Tenchi; there’s a clueless wonder who is adored by beautiful women once again. Lightning doesn’t strike twice. And why is this 26 episodes long when you can guess there’s no character development just a whole lot of fanservice and while this would be great if there was a solid plot to back it up there isn’t. Though I did like Seina this was just the wrong place to showcase his talents in.

Rozen Maiden: Traumend: animation - 6, characters - 5, plot - 4, enjoyment - 4 -4

plot line: As summer break arrives for the students, Jun Sakurada is busily studying on his own in the library, making up for time lost while he had confined himself to his home. Meanwhile, his Rozen Maiden doll, Shinku, has been having troubling dreams of late. The pain and sadness of defeating Suigintou was overwhelming, despite the inevitable battle they waged. After waking suddenly from a nightmare, she finds Suigintou’s companion spirit wandering; upon giving chase, she discovers that the seventh Doll– Barasuishou– has awakened. She now realizes that Suigintou’s fate may very well befall the other Dolls, for the appearance of the last Doll signals the beginning of the end of the Alice Games.

my review: I tried my hardest to get into it but it’s not like the 1st one; it’s a messed up storyline and even the beginning didn’t latch me in because I felt like these weren’t the same characters.

I’ll admit it I got drunk it was new years..I woke up the next day completely out of space and mind and I don’t remember what I did exactly. I hope it doesn’t influence what I do the rest of the year otherwise I’d be staying at home out of my head lol.

rozen maiden - animation - 10, story - 10, characters - 10, enjoyment - 10.

plot:  Due to a deep trauma at school Sakurada Jun has refused to return. He spends his time in his room, surfing the web and ordering anything that takes his fancy, only to return the items just before payment is due. One day, he finds a web site that tells him to put his order in a drawer of his desk. He does so thinking it to be a joke, only to find that the letter disappears and a strange package arrives soon afterwards. It contains an exquisite doll, that, when wound, comes to life. She treats him as a servant of little worth, but over time helps him come to grips with his fears and in the life-or-death fights that soon follow her arrival.

my review: I didn’t expect myself to like Rozen Maiden but there was some serious interest in it that i could not ignore; i pretty much adored all of the characters who came on screen besides sousuiseki, I would reconmend it to anyone with high hopes of them getting into it too.
