Tenchi Muyo! GXP: Galaxy Police Transporter, released in Japan in 2002, goes back to the original Tenchi Muyo! OVA timeline. However this time the main character of this 26-episode TV series is Seina Yamada, a spin off of Tenchi Masaki who is forced by his family to join the Galaxy Police.

My review: GXP is at a best an average anime; it brings nothing new to the table..But let’s be honest here it’s pretty much the same as Tenchi; there’s a clueless wonder who is adored by beautiful women once again. Lightning doesn’t strike twice. And why is this 26 episodes long when you can guess there’s no character development just a whole lot of fanservice and while this would be great if there was a solid plot to back it up there isn’t. Though I did like Seina this was just the wrong place to showcase his talents in.
