plot line: As summer break arrives for the students, Jun Sakurada is busily studying on his own in the library, making up for time lost while he had confined himself to his home. Meanwhile, his Rozen Maiden doll, Shinku, has been having troubling dreams of late. The pain and sadness of defeating Suigintou was overwhelming, despite the inevitable battle they waged. After waking suddenly from a nightmare, she finds Suigintou’s companion spirit wandering; upon giving chase, she discovers that the seventh Doll– Barasuishou– has awakened. She now realizes that Suigintou’s fate may very well befall the other Dolls, for the appearance of the last Doll signals the beginning of the end of the Alice Games.
my review: I tried my hardest to get into it but it’s not like the 1st one; it’s a messed up storyline and even the beginning didn’t latch me in because I felt like these weren’t the same characters.

i have to agree - the ending was a big let down for me - they tried to tie up the loose ends but leave enough just in case there was a season 3 but it all got too confusing @_@ apprentice, what? fake doll, what?

it just let me down by the time it was on the 8th episode I couldn’t finish it anymore it was just wha?

I haven’t really seen the second season yet, but I guess it wouldn’t have as much impact as the first season. Looks like I might be right.
