plotline: A brother and sister discover the digital world is more than 1s and 0s when a living creature arrives out of the family computer. The adventures of a group of children start with the apperance of a Digital Monster in the real world.

my review: this is the actual movie that went along with the episode when Tai and Kari get into digimon for the first time, it’s a cute little short film that ties together a lot of loose ends, I am a big digimon first season fan and this movie made me kind of remember that; i’d reconmend it to anyone else who enjoyed the 1st season

plotline:  During an ordinary day at Yuuko’s house, the Mokonas beg to be put into the world of the manga Yuuko is reading. She sends them in, and together they explore the worlds of CLAMP and get to know the characters who populate them.

my review:  again this is a music video showing clamp’s work from 1995-2006; probably the better of the two i’d say because i recognize more characters here, I’d say this is a good break from watching anime indeed

Last night i didn’t prepare myself like i do the other days with reviews and such; my friend posted this on her livejournal which I will too but it’s just a meme I wanted to share

Go to the toy aisle of any store. All the dolls (or “action figures”) come packaged with one or two “accessories.” Barbie has her purse, The Hulk has a big rock, Space Ghost has little cards and a desk. If someone were to go to the toy store and buy an action figure, which one or two little objects would be in your package with you? Furthermore, what outfit would you be wearing, and what action would you perform when they pressed the little lever on your back?

- the two or three objects: probably a video game console mini size of course because i love to play video games and then some anime dvds as I love to watch anime as well as a little desktop computer

- I’d probably pick some kind of weird cosplay costume if I had the choice like a sailor moon-eske uniform

- when you press the lever I should magically change hair colors because that happens in real life boo-yah.

 plotline: A short video set to music featuring many of CLAMP’s most popular anime and manga characters (at the time of its production). The accompanying song tells of a Wonderland filled with imagination, magic, and dreams.

my review: to be honest I would have liked it better had I been able to identify the characters which honestly i couldn’t do; i did think however this is a very creative music video and I’d reconmend any CLAMP fan watch it.  The 2nd one is better than the 1st to me

plotline:  Sakura Kinomoto was an ordinary 4th grader until the day she opened a strange book and let dozens of powerful magic cards loose on the world. Keroberos, the Guardian of the Clow Cards, informs Sakura that it is now her responsibility to find and capture the freed cards. However, much to the reluctant Sakura’s dismay, things aren’t going to be easy for her; simply saying magic words and waving her wand around isn’t good enough. Each card is a living, thinking, extremely powerful being. She’ll have to learn to cope with her new responsibilities, as well as ordinary troubles involving love, school, family, and friends. With the support of her friend Tomoyo and a young boy with powers of his own, she must learn how to use her newly awakened magical abilities to collect each card and prevent the disaster that will befall the world if she doesn’t.

my review: i got into this so hardcore; i love meiling, sakura and syaoran but over time found myself in love with all of the characters; this is a classic shoujo anime and i really feel anyone could get into this

 plot: A tale of two people, Tono Takaki and Shinohara Akari, who were close friends but gradually grow farther and farther apart as time moves on. They become separated because of their families yet continue to exchange contact in the form of letters. Yet as time continues to trudge on, their contact with one another begins to cease. Years pass and the rift between them grows ever larger. However, Takaki remembers the times they have shared together, but as life continues to unfold for him, he wonders if he would be given the chance to meet Akari again as the tale embarks on Takaki’s realization of the world and people around him.

my review: this is another one of those underrated romance anime that i think deserves more attention; it’s very beautifully done.

plot: Yuudai has difficulty expressing his feelings and his girlfriend, Chizuru, has trouble maintaining relationships. They are each about to make an important decision, when something unexpected occurs

my review: this is a beautiful 2 part ova that i didn’t want to end; the animation is done by CLAMP (which should come as no surprise) but also Gonzo (yay finally they release some good stuff) along with production I.G.[ I must say for a romance this really clutches your heart and never lets go not even for a second.  Also it’s one of the most underrated anime I’ve seen.

serial experiments lain: animation - 10, characters - 6, story - 10, enjoyment - 10 - 9 -(13 episodes long/13 episodes complete dubbed)

plotline: Lain Iwakura appears to be an ordinary girl, with almost no experience with computers. Yet the sudden suicide of a schoolmate, and a number of strange occurrences, conspire to pull Lain into the world of the Wired, where she gradually learns that nothing is what it seems to be… not even Lain herself.

my review: to me this anime is ahead of its time as far as story; i love the theme song but the problem i found was with the characters who weren’t introduced very well and sometimes this anime leads you off as kind of confusing

there is a lot to this series so please forgive me for not reading all of the manga; i have however watched some of the specials, a movie and the tv series itself just not the remake as it doesn’t interest me. Also I will probably never watch leave it to Piyoko because I don’t think she needed her own show.

plotline: DiGi Charat is a series of shorts created as advertisements for “Digital Gamers,” a store in Akihabara. The series follows Dejiko, princess of DiGi Charat planet, and her companions, Puchiko and Gema, as well as Dejiko’s rival, Rabi~en~Rose through daily ordeals they encounter while working at Gamers.

Princess Digi Charat came from the planet Digi Charat given only a cat cap and outfit to disguise herself. Unfortunatly she came with no money, only her guardian Gema and friend Petite Charat. Luckily the 3 stumbled upon a manager of the store Gamerz, who offered them a home if they worked at the store. However Digi Charat is a selfish young girl who wishes of becoming a star

my review: what a cute random anime; the problem with this were the episodes were too short  and i really wanted more and more i loved rabienrose to death
