Designing Tanuki and HKO Picnic posters has made me realise how rusty my drawing has become. I just don’t practice as often as I should.

In HKO, YaYaa sometimes stands in a certain spot on my farm, as if she’s gazing far off into the distance. I like it, because in a way it’s as if she’s become a romantic heroine from some ghastly Asian drama. In a nice way, of course.

So, there’s my inspiration. HKO avatars. If avatars were real people (which they are in a way), what would they look like? What would they be doing?

If Yayaa were real (which she is), when she stands in that spot on my farm, she’d be enjoying the feel of the wind on her face. Maybe letting go of some tension and not worrying about things so much. And wearing the Holiday outfit, because that’s how I remember her. Yes, she appears older than she actually is, but age doesn’t mean much to me in HKO anyway. She just turned out that way.

Who should I draw next?
