There is a website that is selling ILLEGAL merchandise of Hello Kitty and to make matters worse, the images of Hello Kitty have been altered without Sanrio’s permission; they parade a variety of ill-mannered images, all showing a TORTURED Hello Kitty in possible scenarios of death, such as crucifixion, electrocution, hanging and gun-shot wounds.

This website is profiting by producing DERIVATIVEworks using the original character of Hello Kitty! I am positive they have not acquired any legal documentation or licensing from Sanrio to merchandise, distribute and capitalize on Hello Kitty! Furthermore, this website is tainting the personality of Hello Kitty! They are misrepresenting and defaming her character.

We need to advocate for Hello Kitty by starting to petition ALL Hello Kitty Supporters! We also need to communicate this problem to Sanrio asking them to issue a Cease & Desist Letter, which demands from the responsible party to halt immediately all use of the infringed materials!!!

We need to send this letter to the www.printfection.com, who is the web-host for this company; it is not enough that printfection has a copyright infringement notice on their site; they didn’t even bother to check and disapprove goodbyekitty’s content before hosting them on their server!!! Shame on them!To lend your support and help combat this unfortunate problem, please copy this letter and circulate it in all kawaii & sanrio related forums, blogs and friends. By doing this we are defending two very important motions: 1) Hello Kitty’s originality & reputation; 2) Copyright laws, which also protect YOUR artistic creations from thieves!

I rescued my dog from the animal shelter because I believe it’s better to give a home to a needy dog, rather than buying one from a puppy mill (dirty, abusive place designed solely for reproducing puppies for profit).

This was part of a mini-notepad I bought a long time ago when I was in Europe. Only this sheet of paper remains in my possession and I wanted to know if anyone knows this “Caper Cat”?!?!

I’ve had it since the early ’90’s but I only recently came to the realization that it is a FAKE Hello Kitty…!!!

Does anyone know who this character is? I’ve checked the internet, sanrio and every cartoon, gaming, anime & manga site I can think of, but there is no mention of this cat…

Do you suppose this was sold in Europe as an imitation Hello Kitty?

What a terrific find!

So I spent some time shopping for (the rest of the) school supplies (yes, school has already started here in the South!), and I decided to pay a visit to a few store I hadn’t been to in a very long time…

I went to Office Max, Office Depot and Circuit City. While my hubby browsed in the electronic section, I ran off next door to Toys R Us. I was greeted by a very friendly manager and I immediately told him I was looking for “ANYTHING Hello Kitty”—

He said they didn’t have anything but I should try the clearance section and possibly the girls’ accessories section.

He ran me all around the store to look at stuff, most of it was candy on a string.

We walked passed all the Care Bears, My Little Ponies, and Strawberry Shortcake, and I exclaimed “how can you not have Hello Kitty?”…

He smiled and said “I’m sorry we don’t have anything right now, but you’re welcome to come back and give us another try in a few weeks…”

He knew I was disappointed and then he said: “I’m pretty sure I have a very cute tin with 4 Hello Kitty pez dispensers—- how old is the child you’re shopping for…?”

I looked him square in the eye and I said, “I’m 40 and candy is not what I’m looking for!!!”

The poor guy was stunned and was at a loss for words. I left him standing there while I ran to the books & stationery  section for one last desperate look—-and OMG this is what I found!!!!

Is this a lucky buy or what…?!?!?!?!? I guess you know by now that I’m just ecstatic!
   

I was looking at stuff on eBay and on Amazon.com and it occured to me that I can make a “wish list” of the things I’d like to have…

I suppose this would make it really handy for those folks who want to buy you something, but don’t know what you like…. so here is my list and I’ve emailed it to my friends & extended family!
