Friend or Foe? Fake Kitty!

This was part of a mini-notepad I bought a long time ago when I was in Europe. Only this sheet of paper remains in my possession and I wanted to know if anyone knows this “Caper Cat”?!?!

I’ve had it since the early ’90’s but I only recently came to the realization that it is a FAKE Hello Kitty…!!!

Does anyone know who this character is? I’ve checked the internet, sanrio and every cartoon, gaming, anime & manga site I can think of, but there is no mention of this cat…

Do you suppose this was sold in Europe as an imitation Hello Kitty?

I’m really interested in what you all think!

    That’s what I was thinking…. ripoff!!! I wonder how kids bought something like this, thinking it was the real Hello Kitty….!
